I was a little unsure about ordering these because I’m partial to the classic yellow stitching which these don’t have, but I saw them at a great price on Amazon Warehouse (“Like New”) and I’m glad I gave them a try! I think they’re dressier in all black, and they still have the doc martens’ yellowish sole, plus their overall look and quality. They are made with DM’s smooth leather which is pretty stiff to start and are a bit hard to get on your feet because of that, so I imagine they will take some time to break in but I put some wonder balsam on them, ran the hairdryer over them and am hopeful! I would say they run slightly large, would usually wear a 10 1/2 men’s and ordered a 10 and they seem about right.

I am a true 8 and the 7 in these fit perfectly, still roomy even though I do not have a particularly narrow foot. You will definitely need a full size lower if you're a whole size, for half sizes just choose the nearest size down as I think sizing down an entire size and half would have been too small. For anyone concerned about whether these are authentic, mine are leather and the construction is quality - seems like you will get the real thing. They will definitely be tough to break in. You will want long socks or the tops will chafe. Moderately heavy but they're platform and that's typical for Docs anyway. I got them on Prime Day for $60 and to me that's well worth the money! I will update this review if breaking them in is too hard but for now I'm happy with the purchase.

These boots are AMAZING quality. Definitely size down a size these boots tend to run big! I absolutely recommend these boots. I love the color and I know that they’re going to last me a long time because I have the black doc martens as well. You definitely have to wear them for a while for them to become comfortable but soon as they’re comfortable they are amazing.

Love these boots! I initially ordered a pair and had some of the same issues that others were talking about (I.e. very tight top, almost impossible to get my foot in and out and quite painful) and was going to return them but I took a chance and exchanged them for a different pair and these ones are easy to get on and fit great! Also, I believe that the ones I have received are real, a lot of people mention that the bottoms on docs are usually kind of translucent rather than opaque black however I have tried these on at free people and the bottom of those ones were opaque black as well. These boots are doc’s stiff leather as well so super normal for them to take at least 3 weeks to break In! All around very happy and if you order these and have issues I encourage you to exchange them just in case because they’re worth the effort! As with any docs, they run a size big so order down, I am usually a 5.5-6 and ordered a 5 and they fit perfectly!

Super cute. These are definitely a matte white leather. I'm typically a 6.5 or 7 in women's shoes, so I ordered both a size 6 and 7. The 7's were huge. Challenging to get on, and I had way too much extra room by my toes. The 6's fit much better after you yank them on and pound your foot against the gound to actually get your foot all the way in. Strange feeling to walk in, very stiff..so much so that I don't know if I'll ever be able to break them in because at the moment they feel too awkward to walk around in, as if on going to catch the front of the boot and trip with one wrong step. Not like a normal shoe where you can easily step heel to toe while walking. Doesn't help that I live in freezing climate, feels like the rubber bottom just freezes too. I am keeping these and will try to wear them in the spring, bought a different pair of patent white booties similar to these, but much more comfortable, for this winter.

Best boots ever!! I had tried the patent leather version and those felt like torture chambers! While these boots are a little stiff, I feel they will be pretty easy to break in. They aren't so stiff they're uncomfortable but if you have wide ankles these won't be for you. I'm a true women's 8.5 and the 7 women/6 men are absolutely perfect. You will not regret this purchase! While I do love the signature yellow stitching, The monochrome look makes them more sleek and flexible and to dress up or down.

Currently on my 9th pair of doc marten Chelsea boots. The first pair were manufactured in China were a perfect fit, lasted a long time and were great. Every pair since was manufactured in Vietnam. The Vietnam made Chelsea boots are bigger than listed on the box and the boot itself. Like atleast half a size bigger I've returned a few pairs and every pair from Vietnam is too large. The quality control in Vietnam manufactured docs is terrible. Leather quality is inconsistent as each pair ends up with leather splits in different places. The elastic always gives out and the boots get loose in the ankles. My most recent pair had the elastic give out in just two weeks. Image attached I've been wearing doc martens exclusively since 1994. I've had over 30 pairs. I love the Chelsea boot as I've been wearing multiple pairs since 2017. Buyer beware though. The soles last and grip like doc martens but the leather, sizing and elastic is hit or miss with doc marten Chelsea boots manufactured in Vietnam.
