I like scoured the website thinking ok this must just be a different model or something. Maybe a little different. No sweat. COULD NOT FIND A SINGLE PAIR FROM DOC MARTEN WEBSITE WITH THE DISCREPANCIES THIS PAIR HAS. The tag is supposed to have spacing between the shoe and the word it does not. The soles are COMPLETELY different then the website NO YELLOW LACES INCLUDED Tag on box is not similar Inside is supposed to be leather ONLY Will be contacting doc marten to confirm my suspicions but expect a return. No wonder some of the reviews say they only last a few months.

I thought Amazon wardrobe would be great for testing out shoes -- you never know if they are too small or too big, since sizes vary from brand to brand and even sometimes from shoe type to shoe type within the brand. However, Amazon Wardrobe has been nothing short of a NIGHTMARE experience. I returned the items, Amazon said that I didn't, I provide them with a receipt to show that I even dropped it off at UPS weeks ago and that UPS shows that it has been delivered to the Amazon warehouse and n o t h i n g. Amazon stops replying to the emails and a week later charges me over $300 for 3 pairs of shoes that did not fit (these included, they were not comfortable at all) and for shoes I returned to them 3 weeks ago. DO NOT USE WADROBE.

I work as a chef. I'm on my feet all day and needed some shoes to cut it for 15 hours at a stretch. When these came out, I was really excited and bought mine in September. They took some intense breaking in, but fit great once they were worn in. The quality was great for awhile. I've found that the sole is split under the ball of my foot on the left boot. For the money that was spent on these, I really expected a lot more longevity from them. I don't know if I would invest in another pair, as I'm worried about being out so much on two pairs of boots that should have lasted a lot longer. UPDATED Dr. Martens replaced the original boots and the replacements have lasted much longer and hold up well under stress. The only thing that I really wish they'd done differently was not line the boot with so much padding. It wears through and makes them seem much hotter than they should be for this kind of work. If the original boots I'd ordered had held up this well, it would have been 4 stars right away instead of the initial two star review.

At first these boots were great, good fit and nice look. Not even a year in and these boots are cracking. The patent leather covering has cracked and peeled off and there is a hole underneath it! There must have been a factory fault in the production of these and I am not satisfied. I did not pay for these shoes to wear down so fast and for no reason. I did not scrape these shoes in the certain places that cracked and ripped so I dont know why this is happening. Would like to speak with someone about this but I cannot find a way to get in contact with anyone to speak about this problem.

The hardest thing to with these pair of boots is braking them in to your foot. The bottom part of the tongue of boot by the top of your toes is going to hurt. I highly recommend using mink oil for leather. "How to Break in DOC MARTEN BOOTS - (Fast) - Dr Martens Break in Tutorial" is a great video on YouTube to help out. I had to do it twice because you can't really go out because of the virus, but it works. Cheers! UPDATE: I work at UPS. So i have to do a lot of hard labor. Pulling and pushing containers from 1,000 LBS-10,000 LBS. Some of the stitching is starting to get loose which is unfortunate, but understandable for my kind of work. It's a great boot in my opinion. Also i would 1000% recommend this boot over the original normal Docs. The Rubber sole that's slip resistant is lasting me a lot longer because of it. Everywhere online I've seen that it burns out fast. Not for these.

I wear a size 10.5 in womens, I originally bought a size 10 through the direct website because everyone says docs run big, and I had to send them back and get size 11. My feet are wide, so they are a bit long. The seam where the lip meets the shoe will dig into the top of your foot and bruise it if you have large feet, but I'm sure after wearing them for a week or two they'll feel great. I reccomend getting mink oil and oiling them frequently to help break them in faster **UPDATE** They're my most comfortable shoes now. I shoved cans of soup in them to stretch the shoes a bit 3 nights in a row so it wouldn't dig into the top of my foot. I've had these for a few months now, I oil them weekly since I wear these at work and live in a rainy area. My only complaint is that if you walk through a puddle or too much water splashes onto your shoe, it will seep through the stitching around the sole. So avoid water even if you oil them. **1 YEAR UPDATE** One of the shoes busted on the side. They lasted exactly 1 year to the day.

I don't know if it's the outer coating on the shell or the aggressive stitching on the bridge of the upper, but these absolutely kill my feet. I'm stubbornly trying to break them in, and that's not normal for Docs. They are stiff as a corpse in rigor mortis and serve as a constant reminder that beauty is not without pain. The positive point is that even though they pinch like an auntie at a family reunion, they don't leave any blisters behind. I'm not giving up, though--I'm going to break these in or else. They look too good to give up so easily.

I wear these to work everyday and they are very comfortable. I wear size 7 in all shoes so I ordered a size 7 with these and they’re perfect, not too big or small. Highly recommend them!
