Cute comfortable with minimal break-in pain like most docs. I would say these run a little bigger than other docs I’ve had but I bought them in my normal size and I’m pleased. Definitely a statement piece. Not nearly as heavy as expected the leather is nice a shiny and seemingly as durable as any other docs out there. Love em. I’ve been a Doc Marten wearer for about six years. I was wearing the same basic pair for that entire time and they were finally falling apart so bad that I knew it was time to replace them. I had been lusting after this style for like three years. I saw they were on sale, making them the same price as a regular pair, and I decided it was time to buy them. I was hesitant for a long time to buy these because I was wearing my old pair every single day and they were perfectly broken in and I didn’t know if I could handle the weight of the platform all day every day. I will say that the weight is not bad. I did get a blister on one of my heels, which is to be expected when breaking in Docs. The zippers and the laces really help hold your ankle and the shoe tight so it took me some time to get the fit just right. All that being said, these boots are so cute and comfy and I love them so much. Definitely worth the money I spent on them. Zero regrets.

These shoes are perfect to me and I bought a size 5. I usually wear between women’s size 5 US and a women’s 6 US (almost always 5.5) depending on the brand. These shoes fit me a tiny bit big so I can still wear thick socks. They weren’t too difficult to break in but I recommend to layers socks and wear thick socks at first. They’re pretty sturdy too. Almost as if they were steel toed. They are also kinda heavy but you get used to it. Definitely recommend these shoes!!!! Can wear with anything!

I was cautious buying this for the first time because some people said “it’s too heavy”, “too harsh on the feet”, “it runs too big”, “it runs too small” but I really wanted them so I went for it anyways. Let’s beguine saying I have sensitive feet so this was a big deal for me. Believe me it’s worth it! I was ready to try on a pair of bricks but it turns out I can’t even tell the weight. When it comes to stiffness, I don’t think it’s any different than any other new shoe. The thing that worried me the most was sizing. I’m usually a size 7 in vans or nike. My foot is 9.4” and the closest one was 9.54” which was a size 6 and there is enough wiggle space. Also, Idk if it’s in the description but it does come with a pair of black laces to switch from the original yellow ones. To sum up, great product. It’s not heavy and it’s pretty comfortable. Just make sure to read the size chart and measure your feet.

In the 1980s I bought my first pair of Docs and I adored them! I tromped all over Dallas in them and remember that extra swagger I had while wearing them. One day, my Rottie/Dobie dog, somehow discovered them and had an expensive snack. I cried over those boots for hours. I couldn’t blame my dog, I’d left the closet door open. Fast forward a few decades and I still love my Docs! I had never had a pair of the high platforms and am delighted with them! I’m far from Dallas now, living in far northern Minnesota, up by Canada. I’ve messed with other classic snow boots for the last couple of years and finally the lightbulb popped on! My new Docs take me thru the snow without fear of falling. I can do my MN penguin shuffle and get all over the property just fine! I’m so glad I stumbled across these!
