I’m a 20 year old, 65 year old in a 31 year old’s body. I like to think I’m young at heart but old fashioned in the mind. I wear regular jeans and tee shirts and listen to a lot of oldies and classics. Recently I started the hunt to replace some Sketcher Bruisers that lasted a while. Sketchers seem to be really expensive so I expanded my search. A lot of everything I found was catered around the new era style of cuffing and pegging your pants. Thats not me. I ran across these Dr Martens. I’ve never had a pair of Dr Martens because they have always been expensive, but I have heard nothing but good things. With an attractive price and style, I decided to give them a shot. They came in the mail today, thanks Prime for always delivering! I immediately loved the look and the fit. I read to order a US10. I normally wear a 10.5. The boots fit perfect, they feel great and they look flawless. I love the material and the smooth stitching. The rubbery bottom seems to be great quality as well. I will update the review as I wear these boots. Hopefully they last throughout the winter and into spring. I feel like they would be good riding boots! ... show more

Great value considering they lasted over twice as long as other Kitchen shoes in the past. Extremely good looking shoes too, lots of compliments. However they are quite stiff, which makes them really supportive, but it takes a very long time to break-in. I love these shoes. They’re good for all sorts of weather (I mean I wouldn’t wear them in a crazy storm but if you were to get stuck wearing them, you’d be okay). I think they are timeless and look great. The quality is awesome. This is my second pair after having my first for 2 years. I got these shoes for work. I'm on my feet my whole shift and have always preferred boots. These are somewhere between a boot and a shoe. I've been wearing them everyday since I got them 3 weeks ago and they still look and feel brand new. There was no break in period, they have been super comfortable since day 1. After switching to these my back and knees stopped hurting and my bunions are alot better. I literally couldn't be happier with this purchase. I was worried they would be a little too big because there are no half sizes bit there perfect. I bought a 10. I usually wear a 9 1/2 - 10.
