Description

This iconic silhouette and timeless leather design of the Dr. Martens Platform boot is an homage to the Victorian era and its enduring versatility within on our culture. Arcadia leather upper is made of high-shine leather with a base dye and contrasting topcoat, which rubs off over time to reveal the underlying color. Side elastic gussets for easy on and off and a comfortable fit. Back heel loop for easy entry. Soft leather lining for a comfortable interior fit. Lightly cushioned textile footbed for underfoot comfort. Welted construction offers exceptional flexibility. Air-cushioned outsole is oil and fat resistant and has superb abrasion and slip resistance. Higher sole has a rugged commando tread for excellent traction. When you buy a $200 pair of boots as a gift you expect it to arrive in a Nice original box.. Nope came in a poor quality amazon box.. Secondly the overall quality of this pair of dr martins seemed cheap. Even the tag sticking out of the back seemed like poor quality stitching etc.

Re sizing: I wear a 7.5 in Nike & Adidas and an 8 in all other shoes and boots. I bought a Women’s size 7 and while they need to be broken in, they fit well. They are a bit heavy, but that is to be expected with Doc Martens.

I love the look of the boot. The style is really what I like. The fit and the soft platform bottom was so nice to walk on. The leather is a little stiff, I had to get assistance to put them on and take them off. I am 68 years old this boot is a little too heavy for me.

I love these boots. The leather does not scuff easily. I don’t know if I have skinny ankles or what but I have had no problem getting in or out of the boots. I haven’t had to stretch them. I wear size 2-4 in clothes. My usual feet size it 9.5-10 I got 9 they are perfect. I have average to wide feet. Buy these badass shoes you’ll feel like a total badass!
