I have wanted a pair of Doc Martens for lots of years and am so glad I finally got a pair! The chelsea boots are classy and can be worn in so many situations - dressed up or down. The leather quality is amazingly good. The boots are substantial but are not too heavy to walk in. I have wide feet but wore 2 pairs of socks for the first wearing and they were very comfortable. I’ve owned many pairs off doc martens and have had no issues until these - thought I ordered the same model I wore out but these were heavier and the back seemed to be higher than my last pair - caused an abrasion on the back of my leg after a few hours - returned them😩 ordered naturalizer Chelsea boots and I’m happy with the fit - the weight and the cost ... show more

It took 3 orders, 2 returns, and several chat sessions to get this order right. The product listing says unisex boot. I know my size in this brand from other purchases, so I ordered a (unisex/men’s) 6. I was sent a women’s 6-was too small. I ordered a replacement and realized the same thing happened again. When I add this boot to my cart it converts from unisex to women’s sizing. The same thing happened for a few customer service agents. The third time I ordered a unisex/men’s 8, was sent a women’s 8, which is the size I needed. The boot itself is great. I love these. I’ve got three pairs. I work in a barn and wear them to clean stalls, ride horses, trek through mud, stand in sandy arenas, walk in dewy fields. I’ve never had my feet get wet. They hold up to the abuse of horse urine in the stalls, wet and dry footing. I have one pair that are pretty beat up and several years old that are a little stretched out at the elastic, another newer pair to wear to “nice” horse things like shows, and then a pair that I wear other places that don’t see the barn at all. ... show more
