I'm still giving this 5 stars because the item is as described. Unfortunately I used it to fill a Big Joe bean bag chair. With the Styrofoam beads removed I stuffed all ten pounds into the chair. The chair sits up and looks completely full but as soon as my 45 pound son sat In the chair he sank to the floor. So I purchased a second 10 pound package of foam and stuffed that in the chair thinking if it were more dense that it would hold up, but he still sank about half way to the floor. These foam pieces are from about 1/4 inch to 3/4 inches in size and are very soft, as the description says they would probably be great for pillows and dog beds but not chairs. We now have a 20 pound Big Joe chair that I have put way to much money into. I might have to see if I can find a harder foam with bigger pieces, because the Styrofoam just doesn't last, I'm just not sure if I want to put anymore money into this chair. ... show more

This stuff came in handy for filling up a training dummy I purchased. Definitely a messy and time-consuming job. I used about 17 lbs to fill up a 5' dummy. I even had some leftover stuffing to plump up 5 couch pillows.

I bought this to refill my couch cushions. It was a little messy trying to transfer the foam into the cushions, but my couch looks new again and I am very happy. It is firm and bounces back up after sitting.

    • This filler smells horrible!!!

They product came in two thin plastic bags that were rolled and vacuum sealed in a cylinder shaped thicker plastic. If you have filled a bean bag before then you know that you need to try to do so inside of the bean bag itself to avoid a mess, so my daughter held the bag open and I cut the outside plastic off and then untied the end of the thinner plastic bag to release the product into the bean bag. Unfortunately the product has a very strong chemical smell to it almost like nail polish or polish remover. If I had smelled the smell before opening it I would have dumped it in a tote or trash bag to air out in my garage prior to use, but I did not so I am hoping the smell will subside within the bean bag. Other then the smell the product was packaged well to open into a bean bag or pet bed and was as described and came on time. I am unsure at this time if I would recommend this product or purchase again based off the smell. ... show more

Let me say I was like that viral screaming tiktok cat trying to get this open. But onve I did, I was surprised at how full the bag was. It definitely did the job on filling up my daughter's once collapses bean bag chair. Its worth the purchase price.
