These bottles are awesome! We've tried other brands like Philips Advent and my daughter hated them and she would get so much trapped gas she would be in so much pain. The vent system helps SIGNIFICANTLY with limiting her trapped gas! The travel cap is also a nice add on for traveling with the bottles so they don't spill everywhere in the diaper bag. The 3 annoying things are they're annoying to clean with all the parts, they leak and I have not been able to figure out why, and after a lot of sterilizing the vent tube can start to bend (but it still works!). I use Dr. Brown bottles for both my children. We’ve loved them. Both my kids were not breastfed so I’m not sure how it would be for breastfed babies but I was told by all the lactation consultants that they are the best for breastfed babies. We have the baby Brezza bottle cleaner which works beautifully to clean most of the bottle parts. We put the rest in the dish washer. I am buying another set now because I use the plastic bottles and I worry about the plastic breaking down since I put them in a hot wash daily. I recommend replacing any plastic bottles for your baby every 4-6 months especially if you sanitize or wash them in a dish washer daily. ... show more

Good bottles for the most part and helped with prevention of baby getting extra air. I think they do work. I used them till my daughter was 7 months old and ended up switching to another brand. Towards the end the top would leak no matter how many times you checked to make sure it wasn't crooked or the nipple wasn't all the way seated. They would do it randomly, so could never pinpoint maybe it was just 1 faulty bottle. Also they have lots of parts to wash and we didnt have a dishwasher or anything at the time so it was lots of time cleaning. ... show more
