DP Saddlery's Leather Lunging Cavesson "Ecuyer"DP Saddlery's famous Cavesson Ecuyer is available in One Size only. The hardware is made of Stainless steel, the nose band has a chain inside and is covered in soft nappa leather. The Cavesson is adjustable to horses ranging from Arabian to Draft horses. Refine your groundwork, work in hand, and lunging sessions with this Cavesson preferred by nearly all professional horsemen. Fine tune your cues for enhanced communication with your horse with the use of our Cavesson Ecuyer, a kind yet solid choice for training horses to become more flexible and supple throughout their entire spine. You can use it to lunge your horse by attaching a lunge line to the center nose ring. You can also use our Cavesson underneath the bridle, it's not too heavy that it would consume the entire space. In this case, use two outer rings to attach reins. The jaw strap should be fitted neatly and snug to prevent the opposite side of the Cavesson from moving towards the horse's sensitive eye. The Nose piece should be fitted 3 fingers below the jawbone, but never sit too low on the horse's nose, as to not damage the thin nasal bone. Suited for Academic and Baroque type riding, Classical Dressage students and those, seeking a more refined approach to horse training.All-Natural LeatherOur leather is an all-natural product. And because we care about the environment, we never use any harmful chemicals to tan our leathers, only natural ingredients are used in the tanning process, making each hide unique. There is no hide, which has a uniform marbling on the entire surface. Leather structure also differs throughout a single hide. Harmful plastics such as chrome, that would make these natural features disappear are not used in our leather (Natural / Chestnut / Havanna). That's why the leather will always retain its natural character. For us, that's just the beauty of natural materials!
