These sheets are made of "Viscose", which is a newer term for "Rayon". It's a synthetic cloth manufactured from pulped wood, in this case bamboo. I was disappointed because I couldn't get the 4-piece option when I ordered these sheets, I had to get the 3-piece option which consists of a fitted sheet and two pillowcases. I bought an Egyptian cotton flat sheet separately to complete the set, and also to use as a comparison for this review. I also compared the Viscose sheets to some microfiber hotel grade sheets I have. The Viscose fitted sheet is a perfect fit for my California King mattress, and the pillowcases are the correct size for large pillows. I carefully machine washed and dried the sheets on delicate/low settings per the instructions and they came out looking good. The sheets took a long time to dry at the low temperature. There were 2 sets of care instructions included with the sheets: some instructions were included on a paper insert, and others were printed on the fabric case which contained the sheets. The instructions on the case required more care so I went with those. These sheets might require gentle handling but they look and feel sturdy and durable. They have a sateen finish which I normally don't care for, but these sheets are ok, they don't have too much of that ultra-slick slippery feel. The Viscose sheets are very comfortable to sleep on. They feel like other good bedsheets with some minor differences. The Viscose sheets are thicker than the microfiber sheets I have and slightly thinner than the cotton. The Viscose sheets feel slightly "rougher" than the cotton and microfiber, but the Viscose doesn't feel "rough", it's fine. To me the Viscose feels a tiny bit "papery", so it won't replace cotton if I have a choice. But I like the Viscose sheets and would consider buying more of the same.

Um. I'm sorry, but I'm a little confused. I know it's my fault for not fully reading all of the description, but "Sheet set", to most Americans at least, does not mean 2 pillowcases and a fitted sheet. I'm not sure I even understand the application of this, but I suppose there are places where people do not use top sheets? Is that it? Or am I'm getting old? Is this the new thing? Or did someone at this company not realize they were selling what feels like half a set of sheets? If it had said Half a sheet set, I would understand better. I guess I can just use a non-matching top sheet from another set of sheets? I didn't notice the top sheet for sale by itself somewhere, so I'm just lost. That said, the bottom/fitted sheet and the pillowcases feel quite nice. They are soft. They are light. They are pretty. Are they worth $65 for half a sheet set? Mmm. I would say no. I've had bamboo sheets and comforters, and I've found them at decent prices (eg. whole sets for the same price) I've seen the $100+ sets offered at different stores, but I've been able to find them discounted. These also only seem to be available in Cal-King and one color, instead of all bed sizes and optional colors. Not sure what that's about, but something feels off. Alas. They are nice, but I can't help but wonder if I would buy a "car" that came without tires or doors? Or a "suit" without the jacket.

Wish I read this listing more carefully as it does not come with a top sheet. Now, these are absolutely, butter soft and cooling which is perfect for tropical living or if you burn hotter while sleeping. Washed up nicely and they do have a shine to them like satin sheets do. My top mattress is a deep one and a queen and I can never get a fitted sheet that will fit it properly. This Cali-King was perfect for that. This fitted sheet has lots of extra to fit under the mattress and no chance of it riding up. The pillow cases have an internal flap that allows the pillow to stay in place without working its way out of the case. They are comfortable to sleep on and do provide cooling.

I will NEVER rate a single fitted sheet being marketed as a "sheet SET" anything above a two-star rating. And this? This is a SINGLE, fitted sheet being marketed as a sheet SET. It's NOT a set if it's only ONE sheet. I don't understand why companies are suddenly so effing cheap that they removed literally HALF of an entire product and are still charging the same and even higher rates! That's insane. On the fabric itself, it's quite nice. Soft but without being hot. Breathes. Even in the south GA summer. Too bad they only give you half the set; otherwise, this could have been a 5-star. I will NOT be complicit in LYING to consumers nor in charging FULL price for HALF a product! DO BETTER! Stop trying to rip people off.

This is a set of a California king pillow cases and a fitted sheet made out of bamboo viscose. Bamboo viscose is bamboo that has been reduced to its fibers and spun into a fabric. Bamboo has VERY unique properties that I love! It is SOFT, buttery, and has a sheen to it that lets you know this is really bamboo! Why I love this set?: 1. Super soft! It is also 300 thread count but with bamboo fiber that is similar to a 1000 thread count of cotton. Once you try bamboo you will never go back to cotton! 2. These are durable sheets. The worst is when you spend money on sheets and they get holes after a few washes....these are designed to last! They have 145 GSM and have a good "weight" to them and can be machine washed. 3. I have a skin condition and these sheets are great for not irritating my skin. These sheets do not "grab" onto my skin. 4. These sheets are 16" deep pocket sheets which easily fit my mattress with foam and topper. Very functional, comfortable to sleep in and a great value!
