It is as shiny and soft as silk. It is also cool to the touch as silk but not chilling for year around use. It is of course machine washable which is much easier to care than silk. The best linens material ever! It is a huge upgrade from IKEA linens. It looks to be durable too which time will tell.

2 months update: I ordered 2. I am returning 1. I love the fabric but even with the 4 ties, my duvet slides around inside. My duvet doesn't have middle loops to attach to the cover, that may help. I am past the tlreturn window in 1 so will keep on my guest bed since it is lovely fabric. I am going to order the sheets in the same fabric as gifts! Original review: This fit my standard King duvet nicely. The fabric is super soft and feels like a high quality item. The zipper at the bottom versus buttons is nice for less bulk. The only reason I think this is being returned is that it does wrinkle and isn't a clean look. I'm using this as a protector so I don't have to wash the duvet I can just wash the cover (like in hotels). I have used the duvet for 3 days and I normally put a bedspread on top of it. ... show more

This comforter set is so comfortable. The fabric is so soft. It’s easy to tie onto the comforter and the zipper is strong and easy to open and close. It fits a full size perfectly. This is the softest material n a beautiful deep blue. However I fight with this thing every morning with how slippery it is and despite being tied the material moves n comforter shifts somehow inside. I’m thinking material is just slippery… but it’s very frustrating. I want to love it and the material… but we’ll see how long I can deal with it. ... show more
