Good vibrator but not quite as powerful as the magic wand. Parts I like better than the magic wand are the smooth head with no texture and the 4 different speeds instead of two. The variable oscillations programs work fine I just don't care for them, they don't light my fire and are more of a distraction. Some may find them appealing. The cons: Little cord connected to a tiny power supply. The power supply is only 1.5 watts at 120 vac where as the original magic wand is 10 watts, probably why I feel the power difference. The little cord is not all that flexible and I can imagine it will get broken rather easily. All the hype that this is the new magic wand turned out to not be true for me, was hoping it was more powerful but sadly it isn't. For 3 times the price this massager is not for me. I returned it.

First off, when it did work, it wasn't as good as a magic wand - we will be buying another. It's huge and heavy, which could be looked past, but it only transmitted vibration at certain angles - and hurt my hands after a while. It's a real shame they don't allow continuous speed adjustment, or more settings, because it's clearly capable of it with the ramp setting, but you're stuck with 4 and if you don't like them too bad. Second, something internal broke after only 4 months - and the amazon page links to the Doxy website for support. Then after filling out the form and waiting 2 weeks, Doxy finally got back to me to say -paraphrased - "Not our problem, talk to the amazon seller, if they won't refund it's your fault for not choosing a reputable seller." The actual text was "Sorry to hear that you’re experiencing this issue with your Doxy. I need to advise you to go back to your eBay/ Amazon seller and follow their warranty procedure for a replacement or refund. All Doxy massagers are covered by a 12-month manufacturer’s warranty, which will be upheld if purchased through a reputable reseller. I’m sorry I am unable to take your claim further at this point." So buyer beware, purchasing on amazon apparently voids the manufacturer warranty - and don't expect doxy service to be either prompt or helpful.

Despite what I have read about the durability of the "Doxy Original" mine is still going strong at just short of 4 years (used 2-3 times per week). I am in my 60's and suffer form persistent ED. My wife is very understanding of my limited ability. The Doxy allows me an orgasm when otherwise it would not be possible.

I purchased this massager for my sister as a gift for her diabetic foot pain. As soon she opened it up she told me she was sure it was an “adult” toy and not the type of thing she wanted. Product appears well made, and It seems like it would have helped her feet, but she didn’t want it in her house in case her teenage kids discovered it and got the wrong idea. I later went online and discovered that the product is marketed as a product for “intimate” use, so I got her something quite similar that was from the medical supply store that was packaged as a therapeutic aid and she was comfortable with that. Personally I wouldn’t have noticed the difference but I thought I’d share.

Came not in any plastic or anything. Didn’t have the extra adapters for Europe outlets also cardboard was messed up. Didn’t work when plugging in so I had to request a refund but now I have to wait a couple hours before I can order it again and it was a gift so it’s worse. I’ve ordered two three of these over a few years from the actual doxy website and they hold up for continuous use over 2 years then start getting burnt out. Would recommend ordering from there and not Amazon.

I ordered this after years of having the Hitachi Magic Wand in my bedside drawer. The Magic Wand was starting to falter, and I thought it was time for an upgrade. After reading some reviews about how the Doxy is a step up from the Magic Wand, I took the plunge and made the investment. Pros: - It's beautiful. It looks straight out of the Apple design book. - The head is softer and cushier than the Magic Wand. It's also smooth, making it easier to clean. - Super long cord! - Multiple setting options (vs. two), so you can go much softer or much harder, depending on your taste. Cons: - It's longer than the Magic Wand, making it all the more challenging and unwieldy for partner play. - On lower settings, the vibrations are more concentrated in the body of the wand than in the head, making it distractingly hard on your wrist and hands. - It overheats very quickly, making it uncomfortable (sometimes painful!) to use for more than 15-20 minutes. All in all, this just wasn't what I hoped it would be. Considering that it's three times the price of the Magic Wand, the cons were particularly hard to ignore. I will be buying a replacement Magic Wand for the future.

First, it's definitely for confident and secure men in their relationship....because it's a beast! Very entertaining when incorporated. The only thing I can't comment on is it's life span as a lot of items.like this seem to have a 'shelf life" I hope since 120v, it'll have less issues.
