I was hoping these would be a bit thicker because my dog chewed through these so quickly and most of them were pencil thin and a few were larger but more like air pockets or tube shaped which i found many beetles living in after closer inspection. I dont know if the beetles were there when i got them or if they got in them after sitting on the shelf. Also these stink so much. Overall the price wasnt bad for what you get but if you have a bigger dog than say a pug, i would say to invest in larger bully sticks. ... show more

For my small 15 pound dog. I actually cut them in half for her to use. For my larger dogs they keep them busy for about 10 minutes and they are Uber chewers. I didn't notice any smell unlike other brands which is a plus.

My dog loves these bully sticks. I get them from a variety of sellers but this version seems no better or worse than the others as far as I can tell. Ruby flips out (in a good way) every time I give her one so she definitely approves. There's the usual distinct odor that accompanies these types of treats but if it keeps Ruby occupied, I can learn to live with the smell. It's not overpowering like others I've used but it's definitely noticeable. My dog isn't much of a chewer so one of these treats can last a long time--like two days or so depending on how much attention she gives it. Your miles may vary. But, in general, they're fairly durable & provide a great distraction for dogs. The reason for three stars is Ruby will sometimes experience mild GI distress after eating one. Nothing too bad. Just loose poo. I notice that she'll chew on grass the day after eating one of these bully sticks--not just from this brand, just about any bully stick. I spoke with vet & expressed concern but she said as long as Ruby's doesnt seem to experience any discomfort, then it should be alright as an occasional treat. So that's what I do. These are like special treats for Ruby that I give out every so often. It seems to keep her happy & saves me money. Also, I think the price is inflated for bully sticks, especially for what they are--essentially dried up offal that no one usually eats. But this vendor's price is on par with other seller's on amazon, so i can't really knock them too much. ... show more
