This is a nice Duvet ever though it isn't 100% Down and is comparable to duvets/comforters used by nicer hotels. I went with the white comforter because I wanted to have more options with lighter colored duvet covers. And until I find a nice duvet that I like, I have vacuumed sealed it to keep my dark colored cats away.

This duvet insert/comforter is so squishy and soft, it's just lovely. When I opened it, I didn't want to wait for it to naturally fluff up, so I put it in my dryer on ultra low heat for about 15 mins instead. When I pulled it out, I didn't find any stray feathers or anything and it worked perfectly - it was all fluffed up and ready to be covered. There also wasn't any smell when I opened it, for those who will be wondering. I am also happy with the size. I always forget how deceiving down comforters can be - it's so light, you'd think it wouldn't be warm, but it's warmer than my regular comforters.

It's lightweight but provides ample warmth while maintaining excellent airflow to help regulate body temperature during the nights. It's perfect for all seasons as it's ideal to use alone or couple with another blanket for colder weather. It fits very well, draping beautifully over the bed. Its fluffy design adds a touch of elegance to our room while at the same time encourages restful sleep because of its super comfy aesthetics. It's simple to clean in the wash and takes little time to dry. We are incredibly happy with this purchase and highly recommend it.

I ordered this comforter with the intention of using it at our cottage. I made the "mistake" of using it just to try it out. Absolutely love it and there's not way I'm giving it up at home. It is just the thing for temperature regulating, cozy comfort and lightweight without causing us to overheat during the night. It is of course an investment at this price point, but when you use it, you understand its value. Now I need to save up to get one for the original purpose-the cottage!
