I bought this for my boyfriend because he’s a very hot sleeper. I read reviews that said this comforter was light enough for hot sleepers and heavy enough for colder nights. I think it has a good balance between the two and it’s extremely comfortable/soft; however, my boyfriend still finds the comforter hot on some nights but overall he’s pleased with it. Ordered 3 comforters and they all came together. Sadly they packaged like this and one has bugs squished in between the clear package and comforter. Totally gross, trying to figure out what to do with it now ! Not happy!!

I like the warmth and feeling of this blanket. I don’t use a duvet cover. I use it as is. Although I bought it to keep me cool, sometimes it gets too hot under the blanket so I usually stick my feet out and it’s better. I constantly have to wash it because I have a Belgian malinois that sheds all over it. After 50+ washes it’s still in MINT condition. Downside is that it’s a dog hair magnet. I have been using a $100+ comforter from a high dollar store that I thought was the perfect comforter for my bed. I was wrong. Yes it was soft, yes it was nice looking, yes it was hotter than a meth pipe on payday. I was constantly tossing and turning and waking up in the night to kick it off of me. Then I would get cold and wake up again to cover back up. I sleep with a window unit in my room and like it to be cold. It this thing was smothering me. So, I started looking for some relief. I immediately turned to Amazon for an affordable solution. I stumbled upon this. The price was great and the reviews were better. So I decided to give it a try. I put it on my bed and immediately liked what I saw and felt. Looks great. Could be a tad larger (that’s why 4 stars) but it covers my King size mattress good enough for me. It’s very soft. And my sleeping temp is perfect. I’ve slept the best I have in months. This thing is great. If your a hot sleeper and the sheets alone don’t cut it, do yourself a favor and get this. I bought this because I was buying a duvet cover instead of a comforter for the first time. I wanted something light because I'm prone to overheating at night and usually have to have majority of my body sticking out from under the comforter to sleep comfortably. Getting this into the duvet cover was a bit of a struggle, but it was my very first time so I'm sure it was most likely from a lack of experience. Once I got it in and fluffed up my cats immediately came over to check it out. They approved of it and settled in to nap. When it came time for me to go to bed for the evening I was worried it might be too warm because it was so fluffy and had a bit of weight to it. But to my surprise I had the best sleep I've had in a really long time! I didn't overheat at all and instead stayed at a comfortable temperature throughout the night. Loved this at first, then washed it. Shrank considerably! I work with polyester everyday ( sublimation on polyester tshirts) so I know how to wash this fabric. Very disappointing Update: The seller contacted me and replaced item. I was not looking for this or expected it. It was a nice surprise! With that said I am changing my review due to 1. I can't say enough about how much I love this comforter! It is so soft and light weight but keeps me warm and snug as a bug in a rug 😊 I can't believe a comforter of this quality was so cheap! Every one of my kids wants one for their room so hopefully every size is made so perfectly !

Ever since my first pregnancy (got pregnant in Feb 2020), I have been a hot sleeper. It’s terrible, really. I love the weight and feeling of being under a comforter/duvet but I have been hot under sheets and a thin blanket. Our AC is never above 70 at night. I never used to have this problem and could sleep under anything. With the pregnancy, breastfeeding and hormones, I was so sweaty and gross. My husband gave me a bed makeover for my birthday. I just want to be cozy! I was optimistic about this comforter after reading reviews. It’s got a nice weight to it, it’s puffy, it looks great on the bed, but I am still SO HOT. I might save it for a guest bed but I personally won’t be using it every night. However, if you aren’t a hot sleeper, or not as hot as me, this is a great option. It didn’t smell weird when it arrived either. Edit 4 months later: I did end up returning it a few days later. I was also just contacted by the owners telling me that they would give me a $50 gift card if I took down my negative review. No thanks. ... show more
