I really like this blanket and so does my kiddo. The lighting in the photo doesn’t do the color Justice; It is true black. It doesn’t feel stiff like other similar comforters, and is soft and velvety to the touch. This works both alone or inserted into a duvet. Surprisingly, it's way fluffier than other so-called lightweight comforters while still not being so heavy that it feels like your feet (and the rest of you, for that matter) are being pressed down. It does need a bit to "floof" up, so to speak, since it does come well compressed for shipping purposes. But even then, you can get an idea of how little it weights since the compressed roll wasn't very heavy at all.

I ordered the oversized king comforter and I love it! It is so nice that it comes down farther on the sides and at the foot of the bed. It is not big and bulky either. It is slightly thinner than my last comforter but once I get in and warm up (air conditioner keeps our bedroom pretty cold) it is great. I wasn’t sure at first if it was going to be warm enough but as I said, once I get past the cool from the air conditioner, it is all good. It says it is a duvet so I suppose if you are a colder person, you could put a down blanket in it. I would highly recommend this comforter.

I love this comforter the size how it has the it's consistent stuffing is through out the entire comforter. The size is perfect wether I put it on my bed or use it for the couch. Plus it's not down so no feathers every where. Oh the price even better super inexpensive.

We love ours! It was the perfect size for our king. The only thing it needs is a middle loop for the duvet. There is one on each corner, but most duvets have an extra connector in the middle between those loops. Overall we love ours!

I own a very expensive down duvet, which keeps me luxuriously warm in late fall, winter and early spring in the Oregon mountains. Unfortunately, the rest of the year---especially summer---it's Just. Too. Hot. For warm nights I need something far lighter, and this Downcool duvet insert does the job perfectly. It isn't very thick---but why should it be; the purpose is to make you snug and comfortable, without the urge to kick the covers off in the middle of the night. And considering the very low price, I can easily say that I am getting way more than my money's worth!
