These plates are really nice to look at. They are a good size dinner plate but not overly large preventing over eating if you use the plating method. They seem like 5 star plates, and great gifts for wedding or holiday gifts BUT and the reason for taking a star off…these came with no care instructions like most dishes do. There is nothing saying if they are microwave, oven or dishwasher safe. I would have just reread through the listing to find out but it’s clear these plates have been modified. The bottom of each plate where the brand name and plate care and use instructions would be shows clear signs of having had been sanded or buffed off and there brand logo only was applied (every single plate has similar marking but is more or less sanding marks…which makes me wonder why. Time will tell if these are truly as durable as they seem, I truly hope so because they are perfect boho dishes and will look nice at a set table.

These are nice dinner plates and I like the low lip to hold food on the plate better but they are hard to stack in dishwasher because of the raised lip, I just have to wriggle it a bit to get it in and out. They come very well packaged and arrived perfectly.

Honestly, I can't say enough about how nice these are! -For starters, the outer box this was shipped in was very will worn, so I know they'd been for a ride. However, the plates are VERY well packaged and there's not even a hint of a scratch on arrival -The eating surface has a very nice smooth glaze which so far makes them super easy to clean (though I haven't tried anything super grimy or left them sitting dirty for weeks either). There is a bit of a "speckle" so they aren't just a super plain uniform color - but it's certainly not overbearing -The bottoms are a rougher unfinished texture - so a bit of caution to those who use them on a scratchable countertop or table -They're ceramic so they hold the heat of your meal well -They have a decent heft to them, but aren't too heavy as some stoneware can get. I think they're just right NOTE: -One reviewer remarked that the logo/stamp on the bottom appears to have been stamped on AFTER presumably some kind of original branding had been sanded off (as in saying it's a stolen/re-branded product), but I did not find that to be the case with mine whatsoever. I thoroughly inspected the bottoms of each plate in different lighting angles and found nothing that looked like any alterations of any kind had been made to the plate after manufactering (My personal "Vine Reviewer" mantra: I never receive items I don't fully intend on using within my own actual household. I typically don't write a review until I've *actually* used the item(s) - don't worry I'll be clear if I haven't - and always attempt to give what I believe to be a fair and detailed evaluation. This 6 Piece set of DOWAN 10.5-inch Large Dinner Plates have become my some of my favorite 'day-off' dishes. They're perfect for serving pasta, munching on nachos and cheese, salsa and chips - they even have plenty of room for a grilled cheese sandwich on the side with a bowl of tomato soup in the center. These large dinner plates are great for everyday use. Their white color matches any setting. The plates feature a unique glazing process that adds a a little texture to the glazed finish. They have a raised edge to keep foods from sliding off. The raised edge makes them easy to carry over to the couch to watch tv or out to the deck for a bbq or hamburger. They even double as a snack tray! And they're dishwasher and microwave safe, which makes clean up easy. And when it's time to put them away, they're stackable so they don't take up much room in the cabinet. The 10.5-inch diameter plates allow for generous servings, including salads, stacks of pancakes, and heaping platters of pasta. They look great with anything I serve on them. Highly Recommend!

Once we received these plates, they became the primary plates we've been using as a family of 4. They are very well built, the ceramic coating is perfect, looks are great and I mostly like the lip. So the lip is perfect for meals that have a lot of juices and such, so no more spilling all over. The only negative about the lip is it's harder to position in the dishwasher as my dishwasher has the rack tongs a little close and it takes a little more effort and care to load these plates. I can live with the issue because I like the plates so much. I'd like to get a full dishware set.

These are nice plates. Good size. They look good and are a nice alternative to using heavy ceramic plates all the time. So far they have stood up to the abuse of my teenage children without noticeable scratches. They clean well in the dishwasher without any fading or cracks. I would buy these again.

These lipped plates are well-made and are heavy duty. They will go with all decor because of their neutral color. As you can see in the photo, there is a faint speckling in the glaze, which adds to the appeal. i really like the lip, which keeps food from rolling off the edge. I also like the fact that they are microwave and dishwasher safe - scratch resistant too! I was worried about how they might stack, but I'm pleased that they do just fine. Keep in mind that they take up more room in your cabinet than normal plates would, due to the lip around the edge. They arrived in a very substantial box with cardboard separators between each plate, so no need to worry about your plates arriving broken into pieces. The box was packed within another box. I recommend!
