This down comforter is light yet warm and has nice loft after being unpacked and on your bed. It only required a light “shaking out” after I removed it from the box. The comforter arrived in a nice presentation box with the care instructions and other manufacturers information on a nice card in a nice envelope. I would feel very comfortable sending this item as a gift. The shell fabric is attractive and of high quality and high thread count. They really delivered as promised on this down comforter! I will definitely be purchasing more from this company. Highly recommended!

This is a very high quality ‘mid priced’ down comforter (we got the queen). It has 700 fill power Canadian down with minimal feathers. The had of the cotton fabric is incredibly soft. Most importantly, the baffle construction consists of essentially separate ‘3D’ baffle box construction in which each section is sew/separated from adjacent sections. The 3D structure (vs sewn through) limits flat spots. The separated sections means that down won’t move from section to section, but will stay put in each squared section. This is a high end element usually seen in the higher end down. This is not cheap, but if you are looking for a well designed, well constructed down comforter made with premium products, but this. You can find a lower priced ($75-150) down comforter, but will sacrifice fill weight (<600), more feathers mixed in, and lesser construction sewn through (resulting in flat spots) or open baffles (meaning the down can clump and shift). If you move up into the high end down comforters (>$500) you are paying for the higher loft in the 800-900 range (650-700 is more enough for comforter) and maybe high thread count cotton fabric (anything over 250 is down proof). This is not a cheap down, when compared to other comforters in this mid price range, it stands out. By way of comparison, I did buy and return one for same price from another company and returned it. However, this Double Tread is keeper.

I have used down comforters my entire life. I read many reviews. I thought maybe just maybe I would find this product pleasing. it was very disappointing to say the least especially for the price. I’m not saying the materials aren’t a good quality but what you’re getting for your money is terrible it’s paper then. It doesn’t fluff up like the pictures. I’m just really sad about it. I don’t have a lot of money to spend on blankets like this. I’m so taking a chance and then getting something that’s not going to be what I expected unfortunate. stair Clear if you really want a nice fluffy, cozy blanket because that is not what this is I’m not sure what other kind of blankets people used on here in the past I partially think that the reviews were because they got free blankets. I also think that I meant to purchase a different blanket and ended up getting this one accidentally because I got mixed up with reviews I wish I could go back in time and not get this blanket perhaps purchase the one that was not all weather and was heavy. It would make a difference, but just like the other, you says the weight of the product is not true with the box and all I mean it’s misleading and that’s really sad to do to people when paying that much money for a blanket.

This is AMAZING. If you are looking for a lovely, full, fluffy down comforter - you have found it. This is the one. We’ve had it for almost two months and it is our favorite blanket we have ever owned. Don’t buy it if you want to jump out of bed in the morning, because this will make you want to stay curled up and cozy forever. 10000% with the extra $100 more than the others I looked at.

I'd give this 6 stars if possible. I purchased to replace a high loft down comforter I purchased years ago. The manufacturer of the old duvet no longer offered a high loft option so I took a chance on this and am pleased I did. Great price point for a well made fluffy duvet.

Pros: soft, luxurious, true to king size Cons: same brand of duvet covers have multiple ties to attach so the insert doesn’t move around- but the insert only has 4 ties, one on each corner! So the whole long top, bottom and sides of the insert sag. Also makes it very hard to get the insert in a good position when making the bed. Bad design that the insert isn’t actually compatible with the duvet covers.
