The media could not be loaded. My first video is the unboxing of this fabulous duvet insert! I searched and searched to find something that would be perfect for me. I became a hot sleeper several years back due to a disability when I lived my life prior freezing cold all the time so obviously I required different bedding than before. I still wanted massive loft but breathability was major priority. I sleep on bamboo sheets which are the bomb. This duvet insert appeared to have the right balance of feathers and down with the baffle box stitching inside 100% cotton. The cotton is a sateen, not to be confused with satin so it’s soft, breathable and beautiful. I plan on putting this inside my duvet cover with a second comforter that I already use. Quality workmanship with piping and eight loops for your duvet ties to hold this perfectly in place. It arrived vacuum sealed and packaged in this great little case but surprisingly it fluffed up quickly and easily! No odor either! The next review will show the post fluffing and follow up with my sleeping experience. Cannot wait to use it tonight!

THIS is what I’ve been looking for. I tried several before I found the hotel quality I wanted. They’re soft, but in a natural wholesome way, not artificially slippery like other materials can be. In my opinion they look great right out of the dryer. There are some soft wrinkles but they’re subtle and actually add to the appeal and texture of the material. It stays in place and fits my king duvet beautifully. Worth every penny. I’ve tried some more expensive and some less and this stands out from all the others. Fantastic!

The first thing you should know is this is NOT an incentivized review — I chose this duvet set on my own and paid for it with my own money. The second thing you need to know is that I am a bedding enthusiast and sheet snob, and have sheets and duvet covers from a variety mid to high-end brands. Frette, Parachute, Brooklinen, LL Bean — you name it, I probably have them! And I am not exaggerating when I tell you that this duvet set and the sheet set from the same collection shot to the top of my favorites as soon as I put them on my bed. The textile is wonderfully relaxed and has a soft hand. The feel is cozy but breathable and smooth to the touch. The stitching is impeccable. I am a big fan of envelope closures and I was happy to see those on the shams. I purchased this duvet set in Oat and a sheet set in Haze. I love the colors — Oat is a light neutral beige and Haze is a grey-leaning white (imagine cream, but instead of a touch of yellow, it's a touch of gray). I washed them and put them on my bed a couple days after they arrived, and from the moment I got into bed with them I knew I'd be buying more. FWIW, my other favorite sheets & duvet cover are also by DoubleStitch, but are from their Cotton-Tencel line. I bought those last year and adore them. I find these Organic Cotton sheets to have a similar hand to those, the main difference between the two is that the Cotton Tencel blend feels a bit cooler to the touch and has an ever-so-slightly silkier feel. I suspect the cotton used in that blend is sourced from the same place as this 100% cotton variety. Anyway, this bedding snob loves this duvet set and highly recommends any of the bedding from this line. You really can't go wrong here!

Figured I would post this review for anyone looking to order a matching Double Stitch 100% organic cotton sheet set and duvet set. I ordered coconut milk in both this item (duvet set) and the 100% organic cotton sheet set. The colors didn’t match. The duvet set had more of a yellow undertone where the sheet set has more of a gray undertone to it. I thought maybe there was a mistake and they shipped the wrong color in one of the items. So, I ordered both items in coconut milk again and kept the first orders for comparison. Both sheet sets were the exact same color and both duvet sets were the exact same color…but the duvet and sheets still didn’t match. I will say the fabric felt luxurious…nice thickness…and seemed to be really high quality. Ultimately, I returned the duvet sets and kept one of the sheet sets since I prefer the slight grey undertone. I’ll just pair it with a different brand white duvet cover. I did notice on their website the sheet set color is listed as Misty White, there is no coconut milk color available. And on their site, the duvet set color is listed as coconut milk. Maybe this is why the colors don’t match? If so, it would be nice if the listings on Amazon had the colors updated for accuracy to prevent what I experienced for those hoping to get a matching duvet and sheet set.

I am so glad I took a chance on this duvet cover! The color is true to the photo (I got the pink), it’s so soft and wrinkles very little, it’s warm and medium weight (sometimes it can get too warm but I do live in Arizona and it’s 1 million degrees here right now), and the overall quality is just 10/10. I have slept on Parachute, Sijo, and other name brands and these compare! I will be repurchasing them when needed and recommend them to my friends and family.
