I work hard making my own sourdough bread and have struggled with keeping it from getting hard or stale. I finally ordered this and what a difference it’s made with keeping it fresh and soft. Enough space for several loaves and the slide out cutting board is so handy.

Love this bread box. It fits a couple loaves of bread and some of those random things that you just don't know where to put. I did have an issue that the wood was separating from the plastic window. Nothing a little super glue didn't take care of.

At first, I thought this bread box was too big for my area but after setting it up, it was ok. Id say it is quite sturdy and a great value for the money. The size is large and tall with the two compartments. I use the top compartment for my grandchildren snacks and the bottom for actual bread. Assembly was extremely easy and the design is good, but just know that to open the top compartment all the way, the bottom door has to be open. So far, our foods have stayed fresh and the breadbox came without any smell. Great value!

It was very easy to put together and matches my cabinets perfectly (they are a standard color you can get anywhere). Great design. Keeps my very curious kitty out of the breads but still lets me see what I have on hand so I don't overbuy. I love the additional cutting board and knife, which store away so neatly and easily. I will be buying another one soon for my opposite counter. This will also make a great housewarming gift.

****" UPDATE: 3 Month Update - Just noticed the lower door won't stay closed today. It has warped somehow so the magnets no longer meet up to latch the door closed. Very disappointing. I will try to fix it by attaching a longer magnet. I'm dropping the star rating from 5 to 1. In doing more research I have found that warping seems to be an issue with bamboo. We've taken great care of it and it still looks brand new. (I just bought a new loaf of speciality bread and I am guessing it pulled moisture from that?) ***** Holes in the back and the doors aren't sealed - plenty of gaps for air flow and ants if you have them. So if you have pest issues, you'll want to skip this and/or make sure your breads are sealed in plastic before putting them in this cabinet. Very easy to assemble. It's lightweight bamboo but it feels sturdy. Parts came in tact and well packaged so they were safe in transit. No unusual smells from manufacturing. It looks great - much better then the plastic clam shells that we bring home full of muffins and croissants. I hate seeing those plastic containers sitting on my counter. Again, I'll definitely need to bag the baked items during the summer when the ants try to invade our house. But I'd much rather look at this then stack of flimsy plastic containers. Pricey (currently $33) but I was won over by a few details that made it stand out from other bread boxes: +Two layer storage with two separate doors openings +Cabinet pull knobs (I like how small but functional they) +Bonus bamboo tongs +Bonus cutting board & bread knife

The bread box is beautiful, however there were some issues regarding material quality to ensemble it. The staples were misplaced, poor screws quality as they stripped while I was tightening them, I had to glue the display that came loose, and the trail that holds the board was bent, so I also had to fix it. Although I had to fix all these pieces, the box is beautiful.
