I am very happy with my purchase. This razor has change the game for me when it comes to shaving, even though it does not have a pivoting have but allows it to get into the nitty-gritty you’re still able to get pretty much in every place that you need to shave (I was doubtful when it came to the bikini area but was pleasantly surprised by how easy and safe it was to use— I was worried I might nick myself down there). The shave is super-super smooth, practically baby skin smooth (for reference I am a Mexican-Spanish woman with very thick dark curly hair so a close shave has never really been a thing for me… UNTIL NOW!! Baby smooth, no bumps, no cuts (just be careful with how much pressure you apply when shaving) and a lot more environmentally friendly than the disposable/cartridge razors.

Being tired of the disposable razers I have been using when I want a closer shave than I can get with my electric, I was in the market for this sort of safety razor. They first ones I was looking at were of a similar design but much more expensive and I decided to look for something much more affordable on Amazon to give a chance before I dropped nearly $100 on a razor. This was the razor I settled on in the rainbowed finish with stand. Am perfectly happy with it, as it shaves as smooth as a straight razor without requiring the careful handling or risks of a straight razor. I have shaved with both straight razors and safety razors in the past, but they were always borrowed and not my own. This actually shaves closer than the old fashion butterfly opening safety razor I used before. I did barely nick myself once the first time I used it, working around the edge of my boney kneecap, but it's a spot that has been nicked much worse with disposables in the past, but it was only the first time and since, with a little care and gentler touch around the boney spots, it has been a breeze to shave with no additional nicks. I am very satisfied with this being my go-to razor from now on, replacing both the disposables and electric. I am also very happy with the amount of money it saved me compared to the precision razors I was first looking at.

My only complaint is that the handle is a little too short, and it can be difficult to safely change the blade. The head must be screwed on/off, which has almost cost me my finger tips, when slipping trying to twist the stuck head. I will try a “butterfly” blade mechanism on the second go around, but this has outdone every disposable razor I’ve ever tried. I knick myself much less with this than disposables that get clogged and dulled immediately. My shave lasts over 24 hours, which I’ve never gotten from a disposable. I shave less, more comfortably, with less mistakes, save money, and create less waste. I love the green color, and haven’t experienced any rust.

I like that it's sturdy and heavy, so rhe blade does the work instead of you. There's a nice grip on the handle too. I do wish they would make one that has multiple blades on a single frame because maybe it would do a smoother cut/ skin stays smooth longer. But overall, the single blade does do the work of my 4 Venus blades that I used to own, minus the rust. :)

I’ve been using one of the many razor services but kept getting frustrated with the quality. I wanted to be eco friendly so this safety razor was a good place to start with me. It was easy to put together and after a week of use I’m in love. I haven’t had any cuts from the razor and I do feel like I get a nice close shave! 10/10 would recommend trying it out if you’re on the fence

The handle/ razor it’s smaller that I thought (I have a medium size hand). It was a smooth and sleek shave for the first shave. But for the second shave it wasn’t it; I looked at the blade it was so thin and cheep looking. Maybe has to do with my thick hair but I’ll be buy different blades and try that out to see how it goes.

I have been wanting to move away from my disposable razor to a more sustainable safety razor. Bur, I was very nervous. I read blogs, watched videos and finally settled on this razor. I absolutely love it. I have been using it for about a week and have yet to cut myself once. Its heavy enough I don't have to apply a lot of pressure. Although I did watch several videos on how to angle the blade correctly, I do think it's the razor as well. I hope it holds up.
