I needed a nice sturdy spiral bound journal for use on my desktop. This journal has rigid covers and a double spiral hinge. The lined paper is a soft buff color with light grey lines which makes it easy to write on without being distracted by the line. Paper quality seems nice without bleed through for ball point pen and "Micron" fine markers. Bold tip Sharpie marker does bleed through. The book pages include several "content" pages before the normal journal pages begin. The journal pages have locations for date and page number included. There is a double sided plastic pocket included as a last page before the back cover. There is a covered elastic strap attached to the rear cover to keep things neet when needed. This is a quite nice little journal (roughly 8.25" tall and 6.5" wide.) There are a variety of page layouts available. Happy Days

Love the way the pages feel. They aren’t a bright white either so writing in the sun doesn’t hurt my eyes. Good spacing with plenty of lines. Blank date spots and even a spot at the bottom to number the pages. At the beginning of it there’s a table of contents section as well! Highly recommend since the value is great! The strap/ band on the outside is great for keeping it closed as well! While it is a hardcover notebook, you should be careful not to bend it though. Even when fully closed it’s a little flexible. I’d imagine with some weight or force it’d bend a little. Not an issue for me though. Color is pretty!

This journal is so cute and perfect for note keeping at work. It's not small enough to be a pocket notebook for people with normal pants, but my work pants have large pockets on the thighs that it fits into very well. The front cover has a great texture and feel to it that makes it feel like a higher quality than your standard 5 star notebook. It has great paper quality that is perfect for general writing or note taking.

This notebook is perfect! The quality of the front and back covers, paper, and spiral rings is better than I was expecting. What I really like about it the added touches that I wasn't expecting, like a table of contents at the front which makes it easy to find entries without just flipping through pages. I also like the pockets in the back. It came with a little note which was also a nice touch - made me feel good about supporting a small business. I bought two and will continue to buy more.

The color is as pictured, it is a nice slim notebook that fits in my purse, it lays flat due to the spiral binding and since it is a smaller spiral it doesn't get in the way when writing on the left side (I'm a righty). It has a clear pocket in the back for small A5 sized paper if you want to keep sticker sheets or receipts in there for safekeeping. I like that it has a date in the top right and a page number you can fill in in the bottom. The notebook is also functional with smooth rings for page flipping so they don't get stuck when trying to turn the page. Its just as sturdy as the next notebook honestly and it does the job. What I don't love is how thin the paper is. I can see regular ballpoint pen bleeding through the pages. I like to use gel pen if I can so this was disappointing.

Wow, I didn't expect so nice paper. In the past I purchased a lot of notebooks with higher price including Rhodia, Muraman, etc, trying to get the best paper for my fontain pens. But all my pens including very "wet" write smoothly on this paper without skipping and visibility on other side.

This Dotted Journal is cute. The Green color is identical to the Amazon listing and the gold spiral binding adds to the aesthetics. I haven't written in it as well, but the pages are smooth and seem thick enough to prevent blotting.
