  • Lots of videos
Lots videos on YouTube how to install fittings. Line comes roll so is going to be a little hard to run under the vehicle.

  • How to press ends and mold
It worked but it took work, i used the plumbing flare tool resting on top of a vise holding the fuel line. For the straight end i fit a socket over the outside of it and hammered down, no heat it will mess up, little dish detergent, For pressing the angle connector on i used 3/4 inch PVC plumbing tubing and carved a U it to slide over it sideways and hammer it down. After i molded the line bends by lying the line on top of plywood next to the old one and used u shaped wire holders nailed down lightly and shaped it to the old , then used the heat gun and left it for a while : ) ... show more

  • Use a spark plug wire to shape it.
I apparently rotated the rear fuel line on my 99 Mustang 4.6L so that it got too close to the EGR valve... which ultimately caused a leak. The dealership didn't have anything but rubber hose. Ebay didn't have any used of the same part design and I wanted this to remain looking relatively stock. So, I picked up this line and a crimp kit. Since my stock plastic fuel line was molded, I had to figure out how to shape this line without kinking it. After some trial, error, and frustration... I found that cutting the end of an old spark plug wire off and using it as a mandrel worked so well that I couldn't kink the line if I tried. I slid the plug wire inside the hose and carefully used a tea light candle on the side of the line that needed stretched... made the bend and held it till it cooled (a damp towel was helpful). It took a while, but I ended up with a relatively well formed line that would navigate the engine. I ran a high temperature heat shrink over the tube, as an extra layer of protection, and pulled the plug wire out. I put a clamp on the metal barbs coming off the fuel rails, heated up each end and the metal barbed tube, and it slid on well. I put the clamps on (just as extra precaution) and shrunk the heat shrink over the entire assembly. With so much trial and error, this was a much bigger project than I would have thought it would be... but this tubing did exactly what it was supposed to do. ... show more

  • Perfect for Saturn L100 output from fuel pump / tank (inlet is 5/16)
This is perfect for a 2002 Saturn L100 fuel tank output from the fuel pump to the filter (fuel RETURN to the tank requires the smaller 5/16 quick-connect). Also purchase Dorman's 3/8 quick connects, plus 5/16 quick-connects and nylon hose for the return port on the pump. Bend the nylon fuel hose with a heat gun, put a spark-plug sized wire inside the hose to prevent kinking, and heat the hose just enough to bend it to the correct shape of the original hose. Heat the end and use a vice, a brake-line flaring tool & c-clamp to push the adapter into the hose. ... show more

  • Holds 60psi Without Clamps!
Works Great! Heated it with a hair drier to get it on the fittings. Only got it on about 3/8", but it holds over 60psi without leaking, and no clamps. Been on about two months now, of daily driving, and still going strong. It's thin enough to fit the stock brackets, if replacing a rusty steel line, and is flexible enough to route it, so it looks factory. Don't have to worry about it rusting again. ... show more

  • Quality seems as good as OEM
I changed all the rusted out lines under our car except the brake lines with this nylon type lines. Should solve the rust issues. Lines seem to be OEM quality and easy to work with.

  • barely 3/8" OD, but who measures fuel line by OD, no one!!
I bought this fuel line thinking or assuming the 3/8" diameter was the ID of the tubing. Who sells tubing based on the OD? I had some 5/16" thread I wanted to protect so I was going to slide this over the threaded rod. No way Jose! Even though this is thin wall nylon tubing, it isn't even 5/16" ID. As someone said, they tried to use 3/8" barb connectors which just split the tubing. Totally unusable for my project. Also, this is really thin wall nylon tubing. Having only worked with rubber fuel line, I was shocked to find it was nylon. That part is probably my fault, but labeling 10mm OD tubing as 3/8" tubing is misleading. ... show more
