  • Good part for a reasonable price.
Great part that works as designed, easy to install just have the right tools, requires a T-20 tamper proof torx socket or bit, also make darn sure you disconnect your vehicle's negative battery terminal before beginning any work, failure to do so will FRY your New sensor, an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure, IMHO I believe most of the Bad reviews for this part wasn't failure of part itself, but failure of the installer to disconnect battery power before installing, vehicles today are very complexed and can be beyond the skill set of the average DIYer. 🔧 ... show more

  • Good replacement For u0107 code
Was getting a u0107 code checked my grounds replaced my throttle body but still got the reduced engine power message and code changed this part out after researching on forums and truck has noticable difference in acceleration and response just waiting to see if it cured my code you need a torx security bits to replace and remove the pedal from the firewall but it's fairly easy two ten millimeter bolts the lower is easy to get to but the top is a bit of work but with a long enough extension you can get it. Took me about 30 minutes to replay but i took my time on it ... show more

  • So far so good. Considerations for everyone else.
Mine's working fine so far, but here's the thing: a) Don't assume the pedal position sensor is your problem. There's a bunch of stuff in the drive-by-wire system and if you don't have diagnostic software that'll monitor the PPS commanded position, TPS voltages, etc. while you're driving around, you may be barking up the wrong tree. Generic OBD-II stuff will NOT do it, it's got to be GM-specific. Do not assume a P1516 is a pedal position sensor. b) Once you change any component in this system, DISCONNECT THE BATTERY for half an hour. You need to clear all the bad stuff the ECU has learned. THEN you need to let the truck relearn everything, so if anything fails or throws codes for the first half-hour of operation, particularly if it's got aftermarket stuff on it, just clear them and move on. Half an hour of relearing, then you can decide whether it's good or not. ... show more

  • Go with ac delco
It was easy and quick to install. Just put it on and I feel the differance as it feels like my truck now needs a tune up I switched out sensor a & B. Complete throttle body and got another engine light as the ecm cleared it after calibrating the t.b. I should have went with ac delco
