    • Repaired supposed stripped oil pan.
I was told by Big O tire that the drain plug hole was stripped and the oil pan needed to be replaced I purchased this drain plug and installed it worked perfect and there was NOTHING wrong with the oil pan.

Feels like original, works like original, even has the correct washer. Dorman hardware and fasteners are always good. Some of their other stuff can be junky but the hardware stuff is always good.

The specs on these from Dorman are incorrect that not compatible with GM motors used with the same size. I compared and used this in my 2013 Chevy Avalanche and fit perfectly. $7 is a great price for a magnetic plug.
