I had a stripped bolt on the head of a D16Y8 motor, so the nut wouldn't tighten all the way. I tried to remove it myself, and it snapped. While a machine shop was restoring the head, I asked if they could swap out the bolts for a fresh set. They laughed at me saying it would be too annoying to change out the other ones since they were in decent shape, but they'd gladly remove the broken one. What can I say... after I reinstalled the head, this replacement screwed right in and fit as it should. The bolt itself is slightly longer than the stock ones for my engine, but it's fine. I didn't need the nuts, but actually found a use for them on the intake since - they threaded right in, so this kit definitely helped me out. ... show more

Leaving a review for this hardware even though I didn't use them. It's described as compatible with select Honda vehicles, but they were too small for use when replacing Honda Pilot catalytic converters and exhaust sections. I needed M10 sized bolts and these are M8. Otherwise they are well made and I definitely would use them if the size were what I needed. ... show more

    • Fits a 1998 Honda Civic HX, though amazon Check Fit says they don't.
Amazon's Fit checker actually said these wouldn't fit my Honda Civic HX, but they would fit an EX. But after about an hour of cross-referencing, i decided to give them a shot because they were far cheaper than than the two studs with the brass nuts. (would of had to buy 5 packs at $4 a pack.) These fit just fine, from what I could tell they were the same thread as the original studs and nuts, they went in without a problem, and they are still holding tightly. Other than that, they are a pack of 9 studs and 9 nuts. They do the job they are meant to do, and they are cheaper than a lot of other options. ... show more

    • Perfect fit for my 2015 Hyundai Veloster
I needed new studs for my turbocharger on my 2015 Veloster Turbo. I removed the catalytic converter to clean it out and also removed that dreaded elbow from the converter to the turbo outlet. One of the nuts was stuck on the stud and I could not get it off. Thankfully, the entire stud came out. I decided to replace the worn, rusty stud with this one. Thank god this fit my 1983 nissan 720 pickup truck with the z24 engine also found in many other nissans. No autoparts store in my entire town and not even the dealership could get these so amazon really came in clutch.
