I needed curtains to help with sun control for a sliding glass door that is 8' high and 12' wide. I bought the white but was unsure because I didn't want "blackout" curtains and I didn't want thick curtains that would stack too deeply. As it turns out, these are perfect for what I wanted! They block direct sunlight yet the room stays light and airy. The fabric feels way more expensive than the price reflects. The feel is soft, like silk. The curtains had a few wrinkles from the packaging, but I used a medium iron on them and they turned out beautifully. The media could not be loaded. We have been having problems with strangers coming onto our decks side door and looking inside to see if anyone is home. And having a huge glass door wasn’t cutting it anymore. So far, the curtains have been a great help by giving my family more privacy as well as blocking out light when we are trying to watch a movie. They are really soft, I like the fabric. If you are looking for black out curtains tho they are definitely not the one. They help anyways with darkening the room but you won’t go full blackout. If you have a window facing east and the sun is in your eyes every morning this isn’t for you. Other than that the color is beautiful and quality better than I expected. Let’s a nice light in. When they arrived, I threw them in the dryer with a wet hand towel for 5-10 minutes and they came out completely wrinkle free.
