So I have ordered and returned about 30 brands of hair from Amazon in the past year, trying to find the right color and quality. Let me tell you that I won’t be doing that anymore because THESE ARE IT. I’ve been wearing extensions for about 15 years, have done them myself and gotten them professionally done at a salon. I know what quality looks and feels like. So here are the details: these are as advertised. They don’t come out of the pack crinkled and with an annoying bend. That bend in the hair when you take it out isn’t a good sign. Quality double weft remy hair should bounce back the second you take it out of the pack and fall naturally. Which, these absolutely did. They have a strong wide strip where the hair is woven together and the tape is attached - cheap extensions have thin ones that bend and curl after the first use and removal. This ensures they lay flat on your head and don’t shed. The hair itself is thick all the way down, and the ends are very naturally trimmed - I didn’t even have to blend and cut the layers. The weight and length is as advertised - I measure and weigh the packs because lesser known sellers really like to say 50g and realistically stick you with 30-40g. I have thick shoulder length hair - 3 packs was the perfect amount to do a full head of extensions. I have an extra pack just in case I start noticing that the hair needs a bit more volume in a place or doesn’t quite fall naturally. Now let’s talk about the color. When you get extensions and you’re trying to blend it into a balayage specifically - this is insanely hard because often the color is blunt and blocky. These have a perfect blending line. When installed in a bricking technique, the balayage falls absolutely perfectly with a very subtle and smooth blend and beautiful highlight. Color was absolutely as described and pictured. Overall 10/10. The only test that remains is it’s longevity, but you can generally tell how long a set will last by the way the hair falls because it tells you about thickness and elasticity. I expect 8-12 months out of these and have no doubt I’ll get it. I don’t heat style my hair after using a blow dry brush, just let it fall naturally and use lightweight conditioner and serum. Will update at 6 and 8 month mark. UPDATE: The first set did not survive my changing haircolor which I didn’t expect it to. I’ve ordered a second set in my new color and these are hands down the best right out of the box extensions. They feel so heavy and thick and silky. They are smooth when installed and do not mat. Update over a year later: bought another set. Still obsessed and so happy. These air dry pretty, you can tell that all hair follicles face the same way and don’t frizz. Highly recommend! Purchased in Dec, waited to do review- wanted to see how well they held up. 1st time ever using extensions. Goal: add pops of color, without bleach & some length. My hair natural hair was just about halfway down my back (5’10”) 1st impression, so soft & shiny! Lightweight not heavy. ( I bought 2 different brands of extensions, to get colors needed to blend, this one had thinner tapes) once dyed Blended so well with my hair. Absolutely love ! The tapes Very satisfied with the quality- it’s been 3 months - I just had them moved up- my stylist said they are holding up well in great condition! EVERY TIME i go into my salon, stylists & clients give me many compliments both BEFORE & after I have my service. That is how awesome these extensions are, adding more depth to my locks. **I am natural level 3 - had been doing blonde balayage for 2 + yrs. Gorgeous but so damaging **Enter Pandemic -couldn’t maintain color- September finally dyed it at home 4VR(using professional products) ** DEC Purchased shade 2/6/18 in 20” dyed them myself (should’ve taken before pics to show dying process) and had installed at my Salon. **What works for me - wash 1x per week sometimes 2x - in beginning washing was challenging- so I opted for salon blowouts. Don’t over saturate tapes with product. Use heat protectant ALWAYS. Do not over heat, I lost 1 sandwich that way- I fixed it but it was difficult to do on myself. Having someone else to help would’ve made it easier. Overall - love, great quality and value for price. Def recommend to add some spice/flair/fun to your hair! ... show more
