I’m honestly so happy with these DOORES tape-in extensions! I ordered the Jet Black 20-inch packs and bought two packs total for a fuller look. I installed them myself and they were super easy to apply, even at home. The hair feels incredibly soft, blends really well, and the quality is amazing for the price. This isn’t my first time using DOORES either, and they’ve been consistently great every time I order. The hair stays smooth, doesn’t tangle easily, and holds up really well with washing and styling. The pictures show the extensions after being detangled and brushing. Ends are frayed, and if not combed through, matted together. My natural hair is still shiny and silky. I was so excited to receive these extensions after purchasing quality extensions from Ulta’s salon for so many years ($$$). We installed them before a family wedding mid-May, and I thought they felt great, although I noticed that I needed to cut off the bottom 2 inches because the ends were so thin. That’s fine. I had used (1) 20” and (2) 22” boxes for a layered look with two colors. I later noticed after the first wash, that the hair was tangling and clumping together around my nape, so it looked bushy but shiny, so I made sure to keep a wide toothed comb on hand and combed through every hour, as necessary. After two weeks of wear, 3x washed, professional shampoo/conditioner, heat protectant, and deep conditioning treatments with each wash, my hair was fraying, dry like hay, and the color was lightening. As a person who babies their hair and uses no heat most days and low heat to style, this shouldn’t be happening. It’s a month later and I don’t even want to leave my house with them in. I tried putting healthy oils in the ends but that didn’t help. My extensions in the past could last me at least a year, if not more. I wasn’t even ready to reinstall these and they’re already disgusting to look at and feel, not to mention stressful. There’s nothing I could do to save these extensions. Because I’ve been putting my hair in a bun to hide the ends, the extensions actually started to rip my hair out in two different places. It’s one thing for extensions to slide due to conditioning too close to the wefts, but my hair was ripped from my head. I then had to remove the two sandwiches before the other half ripped off as well. I DO NOT recommend these to anyone. Maybe they used to be great or maybe I got a bad batch, which is unlikely with 3 different boxes reacting the same. Never again. Hopefully this review is helpful to someone who needs confirmation or is new to the hair game. It’s not you, it’s the hair.

I had the first set i bought in my hair for a little over 2 months & still struggled getting them out because the tapes were still holding strong! I definitely recommend getting these if you want good hair for a decent price! But I also recommend doing more than 2 packs!

Great quality extensions. They stay soft and silky if taken care of right. Easy to dye but a little hard to style (Curling) and the tapes aren’t the greatest. Some just keep falling off even when done properly but overall I’d say these are pretty good and worth the buy if youre looking to having mainly straight hair😊

So I spent a LONG time reading reviews and scouring here and TikTok for tape in extensions after my 2nd attempt at weft extensions left my head with sores from the beads. I felt like this brand had the best reviews so I thought "what the heck" and ordered them (because honestly the price is wayyyyy less than any other kind of extension). They came packaged nicely and even included a free set of really nice lashes. Right out of the box they seemed very soft and silky. I will say that they seem thinner than the clip ins or weft extensions but I guess because they are used with 2 together as a sandwich that makes sense. I installed them myself with the help of a few mirrors and a YouTube video and it was pretty easy (but time consuming) and they look GREAT. like lemme tell you, more natural looking than my weft installation that I had done by a professional and paid a butt load for. I've had them in for about 2 weeks now and washed them twice. After the first wash they did get a bit more dull than they were but thats to be expected as well, I'm assuming just like any other human hair they were made with a protective wax to keep them "fresh" while in the box. They dried quiet wavy which is great for me because it matched my natural hair and so does the slightly frizzy/courseness of them. They honestly look so natural for me so definitely worth the price. I will update once I remove them! Im slightly nervous about it because the glue is glueingggggg. I haven't lost one "sandwich" either time I washed my hair or styled so they stay really well. Im placing another order today so in a few weeks when I take them out I can install fresh ones (I know they can be reused its just my personal preference). Also, for all the reviews that are saying they are matting, tangling, etc......it's all about how you take care of them. I have had zero problems with matting/tangling...you have to brush them out, use the correct product, sleep with a bonnet on, etc. It's not LIVE hair, there is extra maintenance that goes into it.

Final Update! So after wearing them for a few weeks, both the dark & blonde months apart, they started to go south. Manageable but definitely not if youre not a licensed pro with a million tricks up your sleeve and salon products. Brazilian blowdry them if you want them to behave. If you want bomb cheap hair, check out ugeat virgin hair. Ive been using the same hair for a few months now and it feels amazing. I would venture to say its on par with Bohyme, better than Bellami 👀. Update #1 Ordered #4/#18 balayage. The hair sheds and needs a good wash right out of the packaging. You’ll have to style them with either a blow dryer or curling iron. Order them longer than you need so they’re fuller when you cut. Didn’t need to tone or anything. The #4 is warm so keep that in mind. Solid 7/10. If I want cheap hair for a couple of months I’ll def order these. Otherwise bellami is my pro go to. This hair really surprised me. It was soft out of the packaging. The depth of color for the #2 is exactly a 4N in Joico or 5N in PulpRiot. Super easy to color match. Do note that the #4 tapes are closer to a level 6/7. I am a licensed stylist and wanted to try Doores since a client ordered some and they felt really nice. When I received the hair I put it through the ringer. I scrubbed it with a clarifying shampoo and Malibu crystals. Sometimes cheap hair can be coated with silicone or sealing oils and this one was not which made me so happy. Make sure you wash the hair before you install it, I can not stress that enough. The pictures above are after washing it several times with stripping products and it still felt amazing. That indicates to me the hair isn’t over processed, have full cuticle and is 100% remy since the cuticles are facing the same direction. They are not double drawn but that helps with blending since it tapers naturally. The hair is nice for the price, so if you’re new to tape ins, definitely try these guys out. Idk about the blondes, those tend to be hit or miss but the dark shades are great. I replaced the tapes with ones I trust and they’re doing great. I’ll update after I move them up (today is (2/26/22).
