I love this hair! When you order a set of tapes, you get everything you need to do an at-home install. I've been doing my own hair extensions for years and prefer to put them in myself- these tape in extensions are great! I have the 16" in #60A, they are a very generous 50g (even a bit over at 52g!) and thick all the way from root to end. The hair comes with a small guide book on how to install tape ins and care for the hair, as well as some free replacement tape tabs for when you want to reinstall! They also included a bonus set of eyelashes which was very nice :) I'm a level 11 platinum blonde, and if you're also a blonde trying to choose between shades I think that #60 is a great match if you are toned at all or use purple shampoo- it's a pretty ash color that's very light in person (my lighting tends to be a bit yellow but I included a picture for reference in indoor light) and definitely is more cool than golden. There is no lavender or pink hue, or any random orange hairs like lower quality extensions tend to have. This would also make a great neutral base if you're looking to custom color, but I don't even need to tone because it matches my hair right out of the box. I got 16" to fill in some volume for my own thin hair, one pack is perfect for that but if you're looking to add length I would say 2-3 would be best just to fill everything out. But if you're like me and have thin hair and are just looking to get some density, one will definitely do the trick and they are very light and comfortable to install. I hope this review helps if you're considering a purchase- I am a big fan and these tape ins are a solid option! Easily comparable to certain other "foxy" or "glam" brands.. if you know you know ;)

I noticed in some other reviews that people are saying the tape isn’t sticking. Not sure if they’re aware you have to use a straightener on the tape once you’ve placed them where you want them so the tape melts a little and sticks better to your hair. This is how I’ve installed extensions over the years and though it sounds scary, it doesn’t damage your hair and the extensions are still easy to remove. (I installed them this way, and accidentally got conditioner on two of the wefts and didn’t notice until I went to rinse my hair. they fell right out, so no need to worry about removal.) The quality of the extensions surprised me, I’ve had them in for two weeks and I’ve washed my hair twice now since having them in. They’ve held up nicely and so far I’m happy with them.

Since I typically just use clip in extensions, at first I was wondering if switching over to tape ins would be a good idea. I have no regrets! The tape ins are oooh sooo super subtle, they lay flat to your head, and they are easy to remove when it’s time to remove them. Taking care of them is obviously key for them to last. I don’t wash them if I don’t have to, I use dry shampoo for as long as I can take it. And I’ve learned to place the tape in sectioned off from a top section of my natural hair ….so if I just want to wash my natural hair without the extensions I can. Believe me they are worth it!

I’ve been wearing extensions for a few years now (tapes, clips, halos, you name it) and these are seriously the best out there! The hair is shiny, silky, and blends perfectly with my real hair. The color is spot-on, too! While I’m not a licensed professional, I have a lot of experience installing tape-ins myself. The quality of this tape is the best I’ve encountered- even better than what I’ve gotten from professional beauty stores. The hair and tape hold up through daily heat styling (with protectant, of course) and weekly washes, and I can easily go 2-2.5 months before needing to move them up.

For the price it’s very good hair extensions. The tapes didn’t slip at all while I had them in for almost 1 1/2months. The only downside is that they started getting very very tangled anytime I wore my hair down the very last week I had them. But super good for the price.

Let me start by saying I should’ve listened to the reviews about the tape. The hair itself? Amazing quality. It’s shiny, soft, doesn’t tangle. and the colors are great. I got 4 packs of the 18 inch off black to chestnut brown. My hair isn’t even shoulder length and it blends perfectly. My only complaint is the tape itself. I installed 10/29 and washed it for the first time 11/06. I use the matrix extensions shampoo. I started to dry my hair after showering and 3 tapes slipped right out with no hesitation. The tape wasn’t gummy and I’ve never had slippage before. I’m going to take them out and re tape them and hopefully they won’t slip. The hair though is great, just re tape before you apply!

The last pic is my before pic. My natural hair only grows out to my shoulder blades, so I ordered these hair extensions. They are SO soft, and shiny/healthy hair. They are so soft and comfortable in my hair. The picture of the back of my hair is right after install and still needed the touch up trim. But you can see how far 24 inches hits on me. I am 5 foot 3 inches tall. I have 4 packs in my hair, and it doesn't feel too heavy or anything. The bonds are great, no pulling or soreness, and they have great hold. I will definitely order from Doores again.
