I'm a picky person and like to make the "perfect" purchase, a purchase without any regrets. Features: Like you all the features was eye-catching.. Remote-controlled, dimmable, timer-enabled lights? That's a great amount of feature! Comparing alternatives.. their price is awesome! So far the product has been advertised. Everything works. The lighting has a warm color with 4 brightness level -- sufficient for all kinda vibes you want to set. I made the mistake that 50ft is enough for my terrace. It looks better if it zig zags up and down versus a straight line.. but no fear, this product is designed to be extended by buying another one and connect to it! Durability: NYC weather is quite hectic. Today it will be sunny and then a hour later, there's a storm incoming. So far so good. It's resistant to heavy rain storm so far. I also appreciated that these bulb are shatterproof. When setting it up even with caution, i have some bulbs hit the ground a couple of time. Time will tell if it can withhold winter snow and hail *finger cross*. ... show more

I got these for car-camping, but will probably use them other places as well. The ability to power them via USB means you can use them with a rechargeable power bank, or just a plug in USB power adapter if you do have plug-in power available. They provide a nice amount of light on high, and just a nice glow on low. I used a USB power meter to get a good idea of how much power they use: Lowest: .43w 50%: 2.5w 100%: 4.8w For folks who don't want to do the math - with a healthy 10,000mah usb battery bank you can use: lowest setting: 83 hours 50%: 14 hours 100%: 7.5 hours It seems to draw a small amount of power even if off (which makes sense as it's probably listening for signals from the remote) - be careful that could either drain your battery bank unexpectedly, or the battery bank will not see enough of a draw and will shut itself off...then the lights won't respond to the remote until the bank is woken up. Used outside. Lights started out great. 3 months later almost worthless. They didn't get a lot of use. Plugged into a weatherproof outlet box. And we unplug them when not in use. Now they just come on very dim and the remote doesn't work. Neither does the switch on the controller.
