This was a purchase for my little sister for Mother's Day. The Elephant color is a beautiful shade. The only way to describe it is blue-gray with a touch of purple. The strap is your beautiful D&B shade of tan/brown. It is the perfect size for everyday errands and nice enough to take on a date with a loved one. The strap is adjustable and you can wear it as a crossbody or a shoulder bag.

Love this bag and color is great, leather a bit stiff . The only drawback is the weight. Being an elderly lady I try to keep some items out of this bag when out shopping. If you are a bit on the short side I’m 5’2”the shortest straps are still a bit long. Bought more clips to keep the straps from curling at the bottom that are so long that they don’t stay straight down. Get compliments when out and about. Quality is there

Without wishing to sound like an advertisement, this Dooney and Bourke handbag speaks high quality throughout. Stitching is precise, the leather is soft 'pebble grain' and quality is evident throughout, and the bag is designed to serve its owner's multiple needs. There is an outside zip pocket; inside zip pocket; a heavy-duty zip on the top; an unzipped inside pocket; a narrow leather 'strap' inside with a clasp on the end which is long enough to attach keys to open the car/house/office without removing the keys, so one always knows where their keys are; and carrying straps which are long enough to adjust to the exact height one wants whether the purse is carried on the shoulder, or across, and in front of the body. The handbag also comes with a cloth bag for storing or packing it for travel.
