Not too large, not too small, absolutely perfect! It will carry more than it looks like. The pebbled leather is soft but still structured. Multiple pockets inside, zip pocket on the outside, zips across the top, slightly recessed. The rolled handles stay on your shoulder better than the flat ones. It you don't want the handles to stand straight up, give them time and they will relax. Just tuck them in the bag when you're not using it, or bend them down on the outside. Comes fully full of stabilizing Dooney paper, and a dust bag. The large gold DB letters hanging on the outside on leather, I took off. I didn't like the clanging noise, and I'm not a big fan of overly advertising the bag I carry. It does have a small conservative leather square Dooney logo on the outside. Dooney knocked a home run with this one! Good price too..$65 cheaper than department stores, for the exact same bag! ... show more

This bag is purchased for wearing with my jeans. I purchased my Sister one last year. It is the perfect Tote. The handles stay up so if this bothers you……thought you should know. Plenty of room for computer, tablets, make up etc., great for take along items on plane trips.

Nice size for work and wonderful workmanship. I’m not sure why but it’s quite heavy even when there’s a small laptop and one notebook in it. Not sure I’d recommend for work.
