I bought this bag in black with the vachetta trim to use during a trip abroad. I am petite so I did have to create an extra hole in the strap so the length would be a bit shorter for my frame. Overall, the bag is a workhorse. The is not small bag but more on the medium size for a crossbody. The slip pocket on the exterior was perfect for my passport, plane ticket, and at times my phone. Inside it held everything that I wanted to bring with me without feeling stuffed and the pockets were helpful to keep things organized. The inside is a red cotton so you can easily find things and it’s not a dark hole. It isn’t a wide bag and because of that I could wear it under or over my barn jacket allowing me to be hands-free and feel my items were secure. It’s super comfortable to carry, extremely usable and you have to love the key leash. I am hard on my handbags and because of that I love D&B’s pebble leather since it is very durable, wears like iron, doesn’t get scratched and looks so expensive. The price was excellent on Amazon – and I did check around on various sites. I have a number of D& B handbags & love their quality and classic styles. If you’re going on a trip, you may want to consider this crossbody bag, but it’s also a great hands-free everyday bag. ... show more

Ive tried Dooney crossbodies before & returned them because all the openings are too small. This one is no exception and I should return to qvc. The first time I sat it down on my desk at work it toppled over, no bottom feet. It fell over again the same day so you have to keep it zipped. I ordered multiple colors when I really wanted saddle brown which they had sold months earlier. Its too tall and skinny so you have to remove things and dig in the bottom to find anything. The strap is too thin and scratchy, it has 2 loops at the end to adjust the length but of course the bottom one never stays put and you always have a 3 inch cattail flopping around. The zipper puckered immediately and is hard to open and close, you usually need both hands. I kept pink and orange but I still might try and return a few days late. Plus I see now here they are $25 cheaper and qvc charged 22 in tax and 22 in shipping so they will keepy my $22 shipping when returned. Not cool. You cant even find this style on dooneys website, they have the huge shoulder bag version of the same name. Many of the colors are rich and beautiful but thats about all the positives. They need to stop making eveything in brown trim, especially when they arent offering a brown bag. I feel jipped. ... show more
