I have purchased many inexpensive handbags/crossbody and I use them briefly and discard them never a repeat. I changed my philosophy on shoes first which now includes my bag of choice. The Dooney and Burke is tops in quality, if I carried it for 20 years I think it would only look loved not shabby. The size was important and this one is perfect (8”x9”) or there about. I chose the most neutral color which is a taupe hue glad I chose it. For the quality style size and branding this bag hits all with high marks. It’s not a Gucci Channel or L.V., it’s better it will hold up as well as any designer bag at a fraction the price and look great doing so.
