Donkey Kong Country Returns is a fantastic remaster of a platforming gem. It retains the charm, challenge, and creativity of the original while fixing its biggest flaw: motion controls. It may not reach the sheer polish of Tropical Freeze, but it’s a worthy adventure that stands tall in the Donkey Kong legacy. The two-player co-op mode is still chaotic fun. While it can be a bit tough to coordinate, it adds a layer of hilarity and teamwork that's great for couch play. Whether you’re a longtime fan or new to the jungle, this one’s worth the climb.
