  • It's a Great Watch
Size: 1.4inch Color: Pink
I originally went shopping for a new activity tracking smart watch for 3 reasons: sleep tracking, accurate step counts, and more health metrics. I had a very very basic one before but I wanted more, ya know? I decided on this one based on features for the price. After having it awhile here are the pros & cons. I'll start with CONS as there weren't many for me. The watch face is a bit weighty. The sleep tracking is not accurate nor indepth. You can't view all the metrics on the watch and those you can are very basic. You can not answer calls or reply to messages. Here are the PROS. It does measure sleep stats and gives a good general idea of how your sleep patterns measure up. You can customize your stride length to gain more accurate step calculations for overall health. Blood pressure, heart rate & O2 stats. Excersize tracker. Messages, weather, camera access, as well as music player. A timer & find your phone features round out what you can see. Settings that you can change on the watch are very basic. In app you can change the face display and even edit some faces or use your own image. Honestly, for the price this is a great watch. If you're looking for a watch as a companion for your phone this won't cut it. It's not the "same" as the top 3 brands of smart watch. What it IS, is a damn good activity & health tracker that works with your phone. I wish the app could show location of the watch. I wish the sleep tracking was far more accurate and that I could see the exact time of each sleep type. I also wish it was easier to get back to the stride length setting. And that I could edit more watch faces. I also wish information on replacement watch bands or protective case size would be included. If someone can recommend a protector or replacement bands that would be fantastic! ... show more

  • For the price, this is a terrific smart watch!
Size: 1.4inch Color: Blue
The first thing to wrap around your head is that this watch doesn't sync up with a lot of Western apps, such as MyFitnessPal. I hope that changes in the future, because this is a terrific piece of gear for a very competitive price. The other thing is that your customer support (and much of the manual/app data) is translated from Chinese, so it comes across as odd. (For instance, after stopping the exercise timer, you'll get a message stating "Does it complete the exercise?" It just sounds weird out loud.) However, when I contacted them with a question, I received a very detailed answer within 24 hours. There are the standard problems with the pedometer, just as with any smart watch, in that it tracks any arm movement as a step. The sleep tracker is pretty accurate and monitors your heart rate to track normal sleep and deep sleep patterns. The battery life is also terrific, although I'll admit that I don't have a constant heart rate monitor going, which I assume would drain it even more. My four-star rating is because switching between the different functions of the watch is a bit cumbersome. For instance, if you want to do a stopwatch or exercise tracker, while also listening to your music, it does take a bit to swap between the music player controls and then back to the exercise tracker. (A press to return to the main screen, then two swipes to get to music control, a press to enter the app to skip or play music, then repeat the process with one swipe and press to get to the exercise menu.) I think it would be cool if you could arrange the order of the apps on the different screens. The exercise menu has quite a variety of exercises, but no option for a circuit course type of activity, or stationary calisthenics. I've found that if you select the "Skipping" option, it does keep decent track of your calories burned (I'm assuming) and your average heart rate. The smart phone syncing between the app and the watch is very good. You can link the watch with a number of different apps, although I'll be honest that I didn't bother syncing most of them. The reality is that I don't need Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Skype, etc on my watch. That's a little insane, in my opinion. No, you can't respond to any messages, but why would you want to do that on a watch anyway? Overall, for the price Donerton is asking, this is a terrific value! ... show more

  • OK as a basic activity tracker/watch.
Size: 1.4inch Color: Blue
Update - 12/8/22 I do have a couple of updates for my review. I went from 4 to 3 stars, mostly due to durability issues. Over the 5 months I have had this watch, it has gotten scratched very easily. Granted, this was typically on the type of thing that would also scratch anything else made of glass, such as taping a painted brick wall, but the scratches also lead to a crack in the watch face. The crack is currently about 2/3rds of the way down the screen diagonally. The band also tore off. Replacement bands are easy to find and cheap, and I do wear the watch in the gym and other more rigorous activities, but still, I'm not running triathlons or anything like that. Also, and I'm not sure if this is related, but the sleep tracking doesn't always work. I can't really say why. For sure, it doesn't record naps, but also, it will decide I'm awake and then stop tracking sleep. It will say that I slept for 2 hours when I really was asleep for 7-8 hours. I would say it's good for about 8 or 9 out of every 10 days, and then has a hiccup. The watch itself still works fine and the app is still ok. Glitchy, like I said before, but it's still usable. Even with the cracks and scratches, the watch is still readable. And even though the band tore, I found another new band for $10, so it wasn't that bad. The watch does keep track of steps pretty well, which was the main point of getting it. --=-=--- I bought this to count steps after a hip surgery. It does that quite well, and has added features to track sleep as well as measuring a few vital signs like blood pressure. I only charge this watch about once every 3 weeks and it charges up pretty fast. The mobile app is ok. It glitches out a bit if you don't open the app on your phone at least once a day. It has some kind of bug where it will not record your steps in the app properly if you don't open the app each day. Also, the sleep tracking seems a bit inaccurate. It doesn't always know when I am asleep, though I do think it does track deep sleep and brief awakenings well. It just has trouble sometimes determining if you are in a light sleep or awake. I also don't find the glass to be that durable. I got a small scratch in the corner and that lead to a crack that wasn't there originally. The crack is about 1/4 of the way down from the corner, though it does not seem to be growing anymore. I would not have thought that scratching the outside would lead to a crack like this. I can still read the watch and it seems to be working fine Overall, I'm satisfied. While the app and the glass are disappointing, I also only paid $30 for the watch, so it's hard to hold it to the same standard as an Apple watch. ... show more
