Longline bras/corsets are hard to fit anyway, so take this review with a grain of salt.The fabrics of Domanique products are very high-quality, but the boning leaves something to be desired. Without the right underwires and boning, fit and shape become a serious issue. That, and Domanique seems to have an issue scaling their pieces to larger chest sizes. Foundations for dresses are incredibly important, true, but bridal stores try to longlines with dresses because they're expensive. I bought this to wear under my wedding dress. I am typically a 42 DDD. I tried on an in-store Domanique longline that was WAY too small in the waist. I ordered one up a size, and the waist fit, but I could not, at all, fit my chest in the thing. Not even close. I read some blogs and consulted a couple of seamstresses, and bought this final piece. Longline corsets - corsets in general - get their support from the waist. While this fit well in the waist for me and lifted my chest, but the structure of the cups was way too loosey-goosey. I had a taut, well-shaped waist, and floppy chest. The underwire/boning at the side was too flimsy to offer any breast support. When I held the boning in place against my body with my hand, it looked fine and I filled out the cups, but it did not hold me in - even in my dress. Underwires and boning need to be metal or some thicker plastic. The cups are sewn way too close together to offer any sort of decent shape or support. The underwires were flimsy, and came up and together too high in the middle which caused the gore/center panel to protrude outward and not against my sternum. My dress was a corset back, so I ended up wearing a favorite strapless bra that has excellent structure and got the look I wanted all long. ... show more

For reference, I am 5' 4", 132lb, regular bra size 34 DDD, 28" waist, 30" hips. ordered both a 34DD and a 36D based on other reviews saying to size up on band and down on cup size. the 34DD surprisingly did not have cup gaping, while the 36D did. Will be keeping the 34DD Pros: very good product considering the cost, can't see boning under tight clothing, decent support, good solution for women with smaller waists and larger breasts Cons: The cups are VERY lumpy and kinda pointy, you can also see the line at bottom of the corset under tight/ bodycon clothing overall a decent choice if you're looking to save money ... show more

I bought this to wear under my bridemaids dress for my sister's wedding. The corset part fit great when I put it but the cup size had noticeable space. However, once I put the dress on you could not tell at all that the cup sizes were too big. It definitely gave a smooth flatter look to dress. I was very please with the results. And, as my sister was getting dressed I noticed that she had the same corset to wear under her wedding gown that she purchased from David's Bridal for $80!!! I only paid $35 from Amazon! This did what it was supposed to do and supported me in my wedding dress; I was surprised that despite ordering my traditional bra size, the girls still spilled out a little over the top. I was wearing a strapless dress and it came above the top of the corset, but I was surprised that it wasn't better coverage. It fit well around my waist and back but just seemed smaller than a G cup when I put it on. Every body is different. However, for me, following the advice of multiple reviews on here, I ordered a 34d (I am 32dd), and it fit perfectly. It thankfully arrived a day before I went to get alterations on a strapless bridesmaid dress I needed taken in. I will say, you may need some help getting it on. I was able to be secured and it wasn’t too tight to where I couldn’t breathe but felt supported enough to hold up the girls as if I were wearing a regular bra with straps. 10/10. ... show more

Was a bit hectic to get on, didn't have anyone to help button the back. I got creative though, out on my high waisted suck it in shorts first and those helped me slide the corset in place after buttoning the 'back". Did what it needed to but kept showing through my dress. Don't know if that's a dress problem or corset problem. Seemed to be some fraying? Or maybe I didn't understand the way it was made?     • Too Many Issues

Nope. Too many issues: 1) The lining is really itchy. I couldn't imagine wearing this for more than the time in which I attempted to try on the garment. 2) The cups are pointy, not rounded and I didn't care for the shape. They also didn't have enough structure, so if your breasts aren't pointy (whose are???) the cups fold in on themselves and look ridiculous. 3) It is impossible to get yourself into this thing. Unless you've got a lady's maid or a particularly obliging partner/spouse/friend to help you, good luck. A hidden front closure would have been better. 4) I am a size 4 or 6, small/medium, and I couldn't close this thing. It seems the company would do well to offer better sizing, i.e. both waist and bra size. If men's trousers can come in inseam AND waist measurements, why can't our garments also take into account multiple measurements? ... show more
