I bought this for wintertime in Michigan. I can only tolerate down comforters because they are the only kind of comforter that make me feel like I’m not being suffocated. I already have three other down comforters, but none of them were winter weight and so I would end up using all three and it was just too laborious to get them to stay on my bed. So I did a ton of research and ended up getting this down comforter. It is so soft. Off the charts soft. It’s fluffy and it’s cozy and warm. I don’t need any other blanket besides that and I keep my room at about 62°. The only negative I have and it’s not really a negative is that it’s not heavy and I wish it was heavier for me just so that I could feel more like I was enveloped in the blanket but for people that don’t want heavy, but they do want warm. This is the perfect comforter. I spent hours and hours of research and I’m very pleased with this purchase . ... show more

I was looking for a really warm down. Lost seem to be medium. This one is really warm, yet light enough ( as down should be). So far satisfied. Took a while to fluff up. But it did. ( need to shake it out a lot. Comes very compressed. But was fine. )
