Can't complain much given the price. Don't expect top quality though. The wood is surprisingly light-weight. The hardware is decent but not top quality (some metal brackets may need a little straightening). Don't overtighten anything as the wood and hardware may not be able to take it... but the shelves look good and as long as you can get everything straight and level then they are easy enough to install. I left a little space between the wall and the shelves because I plan to put some electronics on the shelves (like a small router box and Ethernet switch(es)) later and I will want to run the wires between the wall and the shelf and have enough room. See photos. Overall 4.5 stars and rounding up to 5.

These are not high quality. They are made of a soft wood, not sure of the type, but easy enough you can install screws by hand with a #2 Philips. These finished out our bathroom nicely. I prefer the simple, rustic look but staining or painting will be a breeze. My wife uses them for organizing her shark hair dryer and all the attachments plus all the other women's things she uses (snail mucous? Really?). She loves the fact that it "unclutters" the bathroom counter.

It’s always nice to have more room and using wall space is a great way to do that. I purchased these shelves because they were priced well and I liked how neutral the wood’s color was. Installation was shockingly easy, I was able to install these with a simple set of screwdrivers. Even when securing the anchors into the wall, I was able to use only regular screwdrivers. Important tip, make sure the screwdriver that you use to make the hole is a little smaller than the anchor so it securely fits. The wood itself is sort of strange, a bit styrofoam-y. It is very light but still seems like solid wood. I would not recommend testing the density, it feels like it would turn into dust like floral foam. It is super easy to push screws through it without any guidance holes. The brackets are really nice and heavy though some showed some damage upon opening. The screws are good, but the anchors themselves are pretty weak. I didn’t test the 40lbs description, but I don’t believe it honestly. Some of my anchors came in a bit damaged, so keep that in mind. Overall, I like these, but would use them only for decorative purposes and not something that is used often. Pros - Good value - Quality metal - Easy to DIY without power tools Cons - Wood does not feel like wood - Does not feel sturdy - Possible to receive damaged products

Very soft wood, but looks simple and cute . Put two in my bathroom and the 3rd as a pop shelf thinking of getting more . Idk about putting anything super heavy or multiple heavy things but mine works but lots of bath products and holds several pop figures . Not bad product overall

The instructions say to use the white self drilling anchors for drywall. Ok cool. The first set of 4 went in fine. The 2nd set, not so fine. One literally shredded in half and the other one broke off. But I was able to make do. 3rd set for the last shelf - left two holes in my wall because the didn’t anchor, just made a hole. This area of the wall has never had anchors or screws put in so I know I wasn’t working with patch work. Now I’m stuck 1/2 inch with two holes that I have to patch. 100% - use better anchors before hanging these shelves! The shelves themselves look great. But I wouldn’t buy this set of shelves again.

I spray painted my shelves and added them to this small wall space. The shelves are easy to spray paint and easy to install. I used a drill and measured out how far apart I wanted the shelves to be. Very pleased with the finished outcome and the product.
