I’ve been using the Dollar Shave Club 6 Blade Razor Refills for a couple of months now (the 8-pack) and I genuinely look forward to shaving a little more than I used to. I switched over after getting tired of paying premium prices for cartridges that didn’t feel any better than these. Right out of the package, the blades feel solid and well-made. The first few shaves are noticeably smooth—almost zero tugging, even on a couple days’ growth. The six stainless steel blades deliver that close shave the description promises without scraping or irritating my sensitive neck area, which has always been my problem spot. I can go over the same area a couple times and it still feels comfortable. No nicks or razor burn like I sometimes get with cheaper 3- or 4-blade options. They rinse clean pretty easily too, which is a small detail I really appreciate when I’m half-awake in the morning. The lubrication strip holds up well for the first week or so and keeps things gliding nicely. On the flip side, they do start to lose that super-sharp edge after about 5–6 shaves for me (I shave every day). They’re still usable for another couple days, but I notice I have to be a bit more careful and the closeness isn’t quite as effortless. Not a huge deal since the pack gives you plenty of refills, but worth mentioning if you have a heavy beard. Overall, the quality feels consistent across the blades I’ve used so far, and the value is excellent compared to the big brand names that cost twice as much for similar performance. I feel like I’m actually getting my money’s worth instead of paying for fancy marketing. Would definitely repurchase. These have become my go-to refills! Hope this helps!

Great razor blades. They shave very close and last about 10 days per cartridge. Great value for your money. Cheaper than getting it directly from Dollar Shave Club itself.

I like these razors. I think the overall price for good 5 & 6 blade razors is too high but my facial hair grows so fast even after only 24 hours that I have to have the good razors. That being said, this brand is great and great quality.

The title says it all. These are cheaper than your premium Gillette brand blades, but not perfect. If you use the standard DSC club membership, then you know that a blade is supposed to last only about a week. As someone who has to shave daily, this is definitely true. After about a week I can really tell that the blades are getting dull and the skin discomfort becomes noticeable. For longevity you can realistically expect a week out a blade for a daily shaver. Not a bad deal for the price. The only other issue I would say is the functionality of the back side single trimming blade. It used to be easy to use and functional circa 2021, but now it is difficult to get the right angle for it to actually trim. I usually resort to just using an electric razor/clipper for any fine trimming. Overall I would recommend these blades to anyone looking for quality disposable razor blades for a reasonable price.

I know what you’re thinking, one star review?? wild right? Years ago I used to use Gillette razors, they were good for me but then they got too expensive, I stumbled across dollar shave club in about 2018 I have been using the razors for a very long time mainly because they were amazing, they lasted a very long time in the blades were always super sharp out of the box. I’m bald, so I have to shave my head at least every 48 hours. I do a lot of shaving not just the head but also I trim up my beard the neckline and also shave the mustache off constantly. One blade will last me weeks if not months because of the craftsmanship of them. That is until they started this new line of razors with the orange strip.. the orange strip doesn’t even last a full shave session. The blades are super dull out of the box they barely want to cut anything and I went through three razors in two days just to see if one of them was the problem, it was not a full box was the entire problem I re-purchased and they are still extremely bad.. the quality definitely went down, it seems like they cheap out on their materials now, and they don’t care about the consumers anymore they only care about money and profit. It really sucks, I’ve been using their razors for a very long time, close to a decade and now I will never use them again.. I did stumble across Harry’s razors, and I just got my first box today of those and they are 100 times sharper than one dollar shave club they seem like they are well-made, in the first shave which is their basic razor not even the plus version was immaculate. It’s sad that I’ll never use dollar shave club again but they went down the wrong path. Harry’s razor is the way ago if you’re in need of a new razor, I highly recommend Harry’s.
