My wife asked me to order this dress for her, even thought she was a little nervous about the length (since she is 4'10" and was afraid it might be too long = she said it was hard to judge, looking at the photos on the website). But when it arrived, she said she loves everything about it. First of all, the included care instructions say not to put the dress in the dryer. And, as pictured, she had already washed and dried the dress....and it came out even softer than it was when it arrived. She asked me to order a medium, and it fit true to size. She said that the dress is incredibly stylish and comfortable. Sleeve length would accommodate someone with longer arms, but the cuffs keep them right where they need to be for her. Also, she loves the texture of the knitted fabric, and the way it falls on her shoulders. She said it's already her new favorite Fall dress, and she is thinking she is going to order it in at least one more color. She absolutely recommends! :-)

I was a little worried about how this would feel against my skin. Thanks to fibromyalgia, I'm super sensitive to the way fabric feels, so I was worried this would feel scratchy and uncomfortable. But I'm happy to report that even with the fabric's design, it's comfortable against my skin. I love the detailing and the color. It's even prettier in person. It's a very thin sweater material, so it will be more suitable for fall weather over winter, but you can easily add a layer for winter wear. The size chart is pretty spot on, but this is definitely a more relaxed fit. I sized up because a medium just seemed too small for me, and I'm glad I did because I don't like tighter-fitting clothing. The medium would have fit fine but would have been more of a figure-hugging fit, which would drive me crazy. So keep that in mind when ordering this one. Now I can't wait for cooler weather to wear this out and about!

I love Dokotoo clothing. I typically am a medium or a large in this brand depending on the fit and style. After reading the reviews I settled on a medium. It does fit and it isn't tight but it's not quite as loose as I would like so in this I should have ordered large. I can and will wear it but I may have to put some smoothing shapewear underneath. The sweater is a good knit and this is very well constructed. It is light weight enough to wear indoors without getting too hot.

This is a very baggy and unattractive dress for someone who's slender like myself and wears a size small. It looks like a sack on me and is not flattering. If someone has a curvaceous and ample figure it might look attractive. But in my opinion it's not attractive on a slender figure. I do like the color and the material.

Overall this sweater dress is nice. I will say it runs pretty big. I'm 5'4" and about 150 lbs. I typically wear between a medium or large but like to go to the large for things to have a little room. I got this in a medium in black based on other reviews and the size chart, and the medium is quite roomy. If you are between sizes, go down to the lower one, and even consider going another size smaller if you want it to be fitted at all. I like how the medium is on me, a bit loose and baggy in areas. The material is soft and not too thick. I washed it in cold and dried on medium heat and it didn't shrink. It's not as high quality feeling as some sweaters, so I don't know that it will be super durable for the long term. But for the price I'm happy with it.
