After reading reviews about this shrinking in the wash, I ordered a large and hoped it would shrink. I've washed & worn it three times so far. I used a garment bag, cold water, high spin, and low dry. I hung it on a hanger to measure it - it is now 21" armpit-to-armpit (42" total) and 22" long. I'm 5'1", so that is a good length for me. I was hoping it would shrink a bit more in the width though, because I feel like boxy cuts draw too much attention to my chest. There are a few yarn ends sticking out on the inside, likely because I've been machine drying it instead of laying it flat to air dry. The sweater is viscose, but it feels like cotton and is just as heavy and slow to dry. I dried it with my cotton t-shirts & yoga pants and put it back in the dryer by itself for an extra 10 minutes after everything else was dry. I don't think this has to be worn with a layer underneath. I've worn it alone and with a lightweight top. I'm wondering if maybe the different colors are slightly different weights, if deliberately trying to shrink it made it less see-through, or if I'm just not as modest as I think I am. I took the picture while holding it up on a hanger in front of (4) 60 watt equivalent LED bulbs at night, so you can decide for yourself. If you like a low-key bohemian feel, this will fit perfectly into your wardrobe. I've worn it with faded slim-cut jeans and with relaxed khakis and gotten compliments on it both ways.

I really wanted a casual cute top that will fit me properly. I am 5 feet tall and I like ordering cropped tops when petite sizes are not available. This top fit me perfectly at my waist. The top is very flattering, not bulky nor shear (ordered khaki but it's more of an a crew/cream color) and super soft. It does have a slight odor but went away after fluffing it in the dryer with a dryer sheet. I have not washed it yet but would recommend hanging to dry. I will probably get more colors!

I like this shirt. The color was vibrant and has kept its color after a few washes so far. This shirt did unravel at the base of the neck after a wash with like colors on normal. I would suggest handwriting or washing on a gentle cycle if you have an agitator in your washer.
