  • Very good supplement for my dogs!
Size: 3 pound
My dogs have been doing really well on this! They were prone to dander when brushing or if the leash was rubbing against their shoulder on walks and the like and I got this on the recommendation of a friend and that's cleared up. It's the only supplement I'm using now and poops have been firm, their breath is good, and they have no problem eating it. I just sprinkle it dry on top of their food and my setter even licks the bowl clean to get the last little bit after finishing his meal. ... show more

  • A lot of product!
Size: 3 pound
So I got this because my pup is having some issues with tartar even though she is using a oral toothpaste and is using additives for the water I expect parsley this is because what I have to feed her because she has EPI. I also got this because I’m not sure if the issues with her breath are related to the tartar because it’s restricted to her last 2 molars in the back bottom of her mouth. So I’m hoping this will help clear up the tartar, potentially fix her breath. I also got it because she struggles with code issues again because of the EPI. We finally turned around her, Seebo and her gut seems to be doing much better in recent weeks hopefully this additional supplement will be her last. And I’m not sure that I noticed the size that I bought but for some reason I was expecting a jar that would be somewhere around 16 ounces about the size of a large grapefruit but this is like four of those. It’s a huge container of kelp which I’m happy about, I just wasn’t expecting as much is as I got so we’ll see how she does. Hopefully it’ll settle down her teeth and stomach issues. I’ll post an update if things get better or worse it seems like she’s been on it now for I think for five days and it seems like her bottom teeth are looking a little bit less Tartary, but it’s I think way too soon to say her breath is about the same it’s not really worse but it’s I wouldn’t call it better. ... show more

  • It works!!
Size: 3 pound
Full disclosure, I’m attacking my dogs’ (bichons, 2 and 3 years old) tartar issues from all angles. They’ve been on the kelp for 5 weeks, brushing with CET toothpaste nightly for about 2 months, and they get the occasional raw lamb shank or rack of beef rib to try to scrape away any accumulation naturally. I hadn’t seen much progress. No additional accumulation, but no real improvement. Not until like 20 minutes ago. They had just finished their lamb shanks and I checked my 2 year old’s teeth, hoping she scraped off some tartar. She hadn’t. Her teeth weren’t awful, but there was a moderate amount of gross brown tartar on her top canines and a little bit on the pre molars right behind canines. I took a fingernail and tried to scrape, like I have a couple times a week for the last month. But this time IT WORKED. Half of the tartar came off in a flake! I scraped the rest off that tooth, went to the next - that came off too! All 4 teeth that had tartar are now basically tartar-free!!! You can see a line on the tooth where the tartar was, from the gum line down. I’m sure that will come off with a little scraping. My 3 year old has a thinner layer of tartar, but on the same teeth. She was much less willing to let me scrape but I did manage to get a flake off before she yanked her head away! I have tried scraping their teeth so often and this is the first time it’s actually done any good. I’m seriously thrilled. Like I said, I’m using a few products and I’ll keep brushing and giving them raw meaty bones. (I’ve cleaned their teeth before just by giving them raw bones daily but I’m paranoid about them cracking teeth) I really do feel like the kelp is a game changer. First photo is of my 2 year old’s now (almost) tartar-free teeth (the line is where the tartar ended). Second photo is of my 3 year old’s teeth, with a flake right at the center of the tooth scraped off. I’m sure the rest will come off when she lets me scrape again. The 2 year old’s teeth were a little worse, the tartar was thicker and there was a dark line of accumulation right at the gum line. I’m giving the kelp to my 1 year old cat as well. His teeth are perfect (though they were perfect when I started giving it to him). None of the animals love the taste, there was some hesitancy when I first started giving it to them, but they’ve gotten used to it mixed into their food. And given these results, everyone is going to keep getting kelp for the foreseeable future. ... show more

  • Corrects Pigment!!
Size: 3 pound
Bought this for my yellow lab (show dog) after he had an emergency surgery and began losing pigment in his nose from the anesthesia. Within a week I noticed improvement, and within a month he was good as new! Def recommend this.
