Two dogs. One a sleepy German wire hair (pictured), the other a constantly shedding gorgeous Golden. I bought these two beds to protect our sofa from the hairy golden. I figured one for each dog would be great, leaving room for me to sit at the other end of the sofa. The two items arrived tightly wrapped and sprung to life as soon as I removed the plastic covering. They fit the sofa well, the long flat piece is not quite long enough to tuck into the cushions. I also agree with others that the bolsters could be larger or sturdier. I may try to make a work around for that. I believe the dogs will love them after (Daisy especially) they realize they're to sleep on, not between. Anyway, if your dog can follow instructions, this is a great bed to cover your sofa. For me, I have to pull out all the blankets I thought I could put into storage so the hairy dog doesn't destroy the sofa with her hair. But I like them very much.

Came as advertised and was ready to use out of the bag. It’s exactly as pictured and works as intended. I’m satisfied with the purchase but it didn’t “wow” me only because the filling makes a dreadful crinkling noise when you move or touch it. My cat refuses to use it. In fact, I purchased this because I can’t keep my cat off the bed no matter what I try and wanted a solution to the pet hair but now that I’ve laid this down she has opted for the floor (yes, I’m serious). She dislikes the way it sounds and feels when she steps on it. She actually ran from it after her first attempt. It sounds like it’s filled with bags and bags of tissue paper but it isn’t. I checked the filling to make sure there wasn’t some sort of plastic or other material I could remove to prevent the awful noise it makes but no luck. Whatever it is, it’s built in to the product. It’s a sensory nightmare. Imagine someone crumpling up sheets of tissue paper in bed or on the couch beside you all night long. I’d rather chew on cotton balls. Not working how intended but it’s certainly made a wonderful repellent for my cat so I suppose it’s fulfilling a purpose. TLDR: 3 stars only because the product was affordable and came as advertised. It’s a good size and is very soft, but makes the most god awful crinkle noises. Cat hates it and so do my sensory issues. If anything it’s working as a repellant which is a win for me but not my cat.

My shiba absolutely loves this thing. When she first got it, she jumped up on it and took insanely large bites into the cushion sides. Really not sure why she did that, it was super weird. But after that, she curled up in a croissant and had herself a nap. It’s now her favorite place to be. One night she even got up and left her bed in the bedroom to go sleep in this on the couch instead. She does NOT allow her “sister” to touch it either. But man lemme tell you, this was a fantastic buy and at a very good price. Medium size was good for her, she’s a larger than normal shiba so around 30 pounds or so. The heeler-aussie mix pictured is about 50 pounds so I’d recommend a large for a dog like her.
