Installed on my 1998 Jeep Wrangler that had a couple of OEM bulbs already burned out. Nice pure white color, and nice and bright to make the gauges easily readable in daylight. Colored sections of the gauges themselves remain true. Easy to install, except had to remove the dash a second time to correct a couple that were installed backwards. Too bad there's no way to determine polarity ahead of time. The only thing I don't like, but not a huge deal, is that they only dim a minimal amount. They tend to be a bit too bright on a dark road at night. I've heard a special dimmer intended for LEDs can solve this, but it's not a big enough drawback for me to go to the trouble of trying to change the factory dimmer switch.

Had some burnt out backlights so I decided to give these a try. They works great and they also are dimmable. Make sure to have the polarity correct. If they don’t work flip them 180 degrees. I’m happy with the picture and results.

The product works but allows the led to be pressed in to deep, past the side diodes. Thus, blocking the light emitted. You have to pull the bulb out till the side diodes show. There needs to be a stop in the socket to prevent pushing the led in to far.

These LEDs fit the in place of the factory bulbs in the dash of my 78 k20, (dash, wiper switch back light and AC/heat control back light). I bought 1 pack and that was enough to replace all of them. I assume these lights SHOULD fit other years of C/K series Chevys. As far as performance goes they are WAY better than factory bulbs… they’ve only been in for 3 days so I cannot say anything about longevity. Hope this helps somebody…

If you look at the pictures the first picture were it's sideways. Those are the Amazon replacement LED light sockets. The contact is on the bottom shoulder. If you look at the other picture with the glass bulb, that's the OEM one. The copper contact is on the top because when you put that through the hole and you lock it in. The pickup points are on the other side of the circuit board so the ones you sold me are garbage.
