I purchased these boots based on the positive Amazon reviews. I agree with others that the leather and appearance quality are impressive for this price range. I have long slender feet and normally wear size 13 Keene hiking boot so I ordered the same size in this boot. These shoes were about 1/2 size too big on my feet and felt too roomy at the top. Even tightening the laces could not help them fit better. The width of the sole was fine. The other concern I had was the poor comfort of the sole. These shoes definitely lack support and are worse than any other boot ever worn. You will need to order inserts to improve the comfort. I regrettably had to return the boots because the size was too big, otherwise I would have kept them and bought inserts. ... show more

I don't remember the last time I've receive compliments on a shoe, but these look THAT good. They really are gorgeous, and look far more expensive than they are. Rough to break in though, and even now once broken in they're not particularly comfortable. To be fair though, part of that is because they don't seem to come in wide sizes, which typically fit me better. When these came in I thought they looked decent for the price. Not incredible quality leather but not horrible either. They scratch easily and don’t get a nice worn leather look, just simply scratched. The bigger issue is with their functional quality. After not that many wears, they got in a small altercation with a door. I don’t know how and I didn’t ask. But, it wasn’t anything crazy. A bump. We expected maybe a knick in the heel or gauge in the leather. Oh no… the heel cracked almost in half. Never seen this happen to a shoe before. Not sure what composition the heel is made of but apparently it’s pretty fragile. I suspect if it hadn’t been that, something else would have ended their life soon after. Loved these on my boyfriend. Great looking boots, and he said they're very comfortable. He wears 11.5-12, got these in a 12, so they're true to size. Can't speak on the longevity yet, but I'll update if they fall apart too quickly.

First of all, I was skeptical buying this pair of boots considering the price. I didn't think the quality would meet any expectations. To get a quality pair these days, you'd be coughing up at least $150 and up. But the reviews helped assured me it wouldn't be a regretful decision. I got to say, these boots were well constructed, soft leather so no need worrying about breaking them in, they are comfortable on the inside. Smells like top brands. Clean finishing. However, I'm a size 11M (narrow feet). The size 11 for these boots came about 1 ~ 1.5 inches longer from my toe, so I returned them to get a size 10. Yes, I would recommend you order half a size smaller then your actual size. Some reviewers claim the other way around, but either way, return was a breeze so you've got nothing to really worry about. In conclusion, the boots are amazing. Note: They are more like dress/casual boots as oppose to motorcycle/work boots as described. So, don't be disappointed when you get them. ... show more
