I've tried a couple other chelsea style boots but I often found them hard to pull on and off and not always the most comfortable as I have wide ankles. I put these on. The little strap on the back made it easier to put your foot in the boot and help pull it on. Very comfortable to wear and I love the grippy non-slip sole. I work on a cruiseship I bought this shoe three weeks ago, I only wear it on my 4hr morning shifts. In two weeks it was peeling off the skin I was so so disappointed. The other thing it’s not Slip Resistant to oil or water. If you want to wear it only on two occasions then go for it but if you want to use it for work don’t even bother. The only reason I’m giving these shoes, a two out of five is because of the looks they’re decent looking. I got these for working in restaurants. The slippers resistant is so hit or mess with these outside the restaurant like on cement they’re good but in the restaurant it is like walking on ice. In terms of comfort and support for some reason, the left one is filling more painful than the right one and overall there’s no cushion support for this being a slippers resistant shoe oriented for the industry. They aren't as slip-resistant as I would like, but they do a decent job. I couldn't see myself spending over 100 on slip resisant shoes again so these are a good go to.
