  • Awesome Pants
Size: 36W x 29L Color: Charcoal Heather
I bought a few pairs of these last month to try out. I had also bought 2 pair of Dockers Workday Khakis at my local retailer. I thought I liked the Workdays until these arrived from Prime. The Lux is just a better feeling fabric. It has a light stretching ability, which helps in the thighs, especially when sitting. The Comfort Band that Dockers uses is excellent. It doesn't have the "separated" waistband that other brands use to stretch, The material itself in the waistband is somewhat elastic. It makes for a cleaner look, less bulk at the waist. I have washed and dried several times now. The Lux shrinks less after the first wash than the Workdays. They are wrinkle-free out of the drier, ready to wear with no iron, unlike some of the other brands who advertise "wrinkle-free."I have pretty much abandoned the Dockers Workdays for these. Prime sells the Lux at a great price, as my local retailer is selling them at MSRP $62 with half off the second pair, which is quite a bit higher than Prime. hIghly recommend for those who work in a business-casual environment. ... show more

  • Excellent Pants!
Size: 32W x 34L Color: Cloud
These pants fit, feel and function perfectly. I ordered a number of pairs in different colors. Keep in mind that some of the colors are offered with a crease or without a crease. The creased pants are great for business casual dress at work. The non-creased pants are great for informal occasions. I am 6ft and slender. The 32 inch waist/34 inch length is perfect for me. The flex waistband is very comfortable. If you need the flex waistband because your belly is a little large (not flat), these are not the pants for you. You would be better off with D3 or D4 Dockers which give more room in the rear and thighs. You would probably split and tear the D2 dockers. ... show more

  • Probably second quality
Size: 36W x 32L Color: Steelhead
Pants look sharp, and crease remained perfect after washing and drier. There is a small defect in the fabric in the front about an inch below the waist, like a little hole. I wouldn't wear this for work since it's not perfect, but for casual I don't notice it, my shirt usually untucked anyway. The waist seems to be one size too big, again, not a big enough deal to return it. Price is below what I would find on the rack in a Marshalls or TJ Maxx but there I would have been able to examine it before buying. Might try buying another pair in a different color but will be more particular about the quality before wearing. ... show more

  • Zipper broke in 6 months, made of plastic
The zipper broke after only 6 months normal wear. Very tiny plastic or nylon teeth in the zipper broke. Can't slide it now to close the zipper. Why not use a more durable metal zipper in these Dockers pants? The pants haven't any rips or tears in them at all. But now it'd cost more to have a tailor replace the zipper than the pants are worth. • Good quality at a decent price.
Size: 32W x 34L Color: Dockers Navy
I have a hard to find size in pants, too narrow at the waist, too long in the leg, and for years I was able to find this size in Dockers at Macys. That is until two years ago when they discontinued carrying my size; they could not even order it for me. Finding it online at Amazon, I ordered a pair, and if anything, they fit better than the ones I was used to buying in the store, and the quality of material seemed of a higher grade. This is important because Dockers are infamous for fraying after repeated washings and drying - all long time Dockers wearers know about that little hole that comes from the fabric wearing thin in the seat. Price wise it was not that much more than I paid in the store. I was well satisfied. ... show more

  • Pretty, pretttty good
I mostly wear slim straight Dickies and love those but can mostly ever find them in navy, tan, or black. Wanted to try something different, while hoping they were somewhat similar. I purchased the Black (no-crease) and Olive (creased). The black have a leg opening of 8.25” laid flat, and the olive have a leg opening of 8.625” laid flat. They are both the same size 34x34. Not sure if they are just inconsistent or if this is due to the olive pair being creased, which would make some sense I think. Haven’t washed them yet. Material feels a little different but doesn’t bother me. I typically like the stiff material on the non-flex Dickies. They fit good and were only $25. So no complaints. They have a good straight fit to them. ... show more

  • Good Casual or Business Appearance Slacks
This is my fifth pair of the Lux Cotton trousers in different colors. They look very precise and neat for business or casual. I usually prefer only all cotton but these have minimal amount of elastic thread. Only caution is to be careful in dryer as they will shrink at waist in anything but a cool temperature setting. I now partially dry on cool or low setting and remove to finish by air drying on trouser hanger. I'll still buy another pair. ... show more

  • Does not feel Cotton - Rough and Itchy
Size: 38W x 30L Color: Cloud
The fabric does not feel cotton at all - the label does say 98% cotton, however, I doubt it is "rich" cotton - i.e. soft feel cotton. It feels rough and itchy. I did not go so far as wear or wash, however, this quality of cotton does give problems in ironing at home. It is a good price, however, it depends for users who can handle the fabric quality. It may not be a good wear in summer. ... show more
