I normally wear a size 8 M in all Dockers shoes. But the last 3 pairs of Dockers I have ordered are too large. They fit my feet like the shoes are size 8.5 M and are a half size too large. I gave all three pair to my son in law who wears an 8.5 and the 8M fit him perfectly. I reordered 2 pairs of the same style Dockers in size 7.5M and they fit nicely. Not certain what is going on with the Dockers sizing issues. I wear a standard 8M in All other brands of shoes I purchase. I bought a pair of 11.5 but when they arrived, they fit more like a size 12 or 12.5. So I returned them and ordered a size 11.     • Be careful on sizes, I had to go through three orders to get the right size.

This was the third time I ordered this style because the first two pairs of shoes that I ordered were too large. For at least the last thirty years I have worn size men's 13M, however when I first ordered these in my normal size, I found that they were extremely loose. I then decided to reorder them in the next size smaller, size 12M thinking that surely it couldn't be any smaller than that. Only when I received them they were also too large, better, but still a bit sloppy. At this point, the next smaller size was a 11.5"M. Now I haven't worn that size since high-school, 50 years ago, but I thought, what the heck, what do I have to loose. When they arrived, I tried them on and found that they were comfortably snug, just enough so that when they stretch out, they will fit like a glove. The reason that I have shared all of this with you is because if you are looking at this style and are needing them right away, then you might want to consider buying two or three different sizes upfront, rather then doing it that way that I did.
